The first three rounds of the NFL draft are in books.

After months of grading every player on every snap in college football, re-watching the film and taking in all of the offseason workouts, the grinding is done but the draft is not.

As a reminder: Our rankings rely heavily on our grading system that accounts for down-to-down production, but we’ve used all available information to shape the board whether that be workouts, projections, or off-field issues if they are clear.

A position-by-position look at some of the best prospects left headed into Day 3 of the #NFLDraft. https://t.co/MTe9rjsOnZ

The prevailing argument throughout much of the 2016 draft process was that while this year’s class was shy on an abundance of obvious superstars, it drew strength in its depth. A look at the names left available through two days helps prove that point.

Connor Cook and Andrew Billings jump off the page as players who have “fallen” this weekend, but they will be joined for Saturday’s Rounds 4–7 by a long list of capable prospects. The best of the best among what’s left, by position:

BN Blitz: Resetting the #Bills' needs heading into Day 3 of the NFL Draft and looking at the top remaining players https://t.co/SjlrmMjXUj

Defense, defense, defense.

That's how the Buffalo Bills have approached the first three rounds of the NFL Draft.

With the final four rounds getting underway at noon Saturday, it's a good bet that the Bills turn their attention to the offensive side of the ball at some point. General Manager Doug Whaley said Friday that there is still a good chance the Bills will draft a quarterback, while another wide receiver may also make sense.

Here is a look at the top remaining players at some of the positions of need for the Bills:

Bills will now go QB, WR, S, G.

Bills day 3 approach might shift a bit

The Bills have gone all defense with their first three picks. One could argue that they still have needs on the defensive side of the ball (cornerback, safety). But at this stage of the draft, GM Doug Whaley admits that their approach the rest of the way will shift a bit.

It just seems to me it's tough finding OLs that make it after the 4th round. At least in recent years. Especially for us. I think of Wang immediately. Same goes for LB.

DBs WRs and even RBs. That's where I'm looking.
