Vilarial got called for 1 penalty this year?!

I think I'm going to puke. :D

And you can toss those sacks numbers out the window. It seems as if all they're doing is hanging the sack on whoever was lined up across from the sackers position; not taking into account twists/stunts, sliding protection, backs and TE's.

There's no way in hell Mike Williams gave up 8 1/2 sacks this year while Larry Smith was responsible for none.

Lawrence Smith is a weird player. If you focus on him...he doesn't give an inch in pass protection. The guy absolutely stops defenders at the point of attack and holds his ground. However, when it comes to run blocking...Smith gets absolutely zero penetration....and the run lanes close before they open. If you notice...the Bills would put Smith in for Tucker at the end of halves and games when the Bills needed a 2 minute drill...because in pass happy situations he is very solid. If he could ever learn how to run block...he could turn out to be a very solid player.

Sign Ryan Diem.

Do that and instantly the line is MUCH stronger. Too bad we're still weak at center.

I totally agree, Diem is the one O-Lineman I have targeted this year in free agency because he is a vastly underrated O-Lineman who is ready to explode into NFL dominance. If he signs with the Bills, our O-Line is twice as better with just adding him (upgrading us from craptacular to average).
