What % chance does the 2013 EJ/Austin trade down...

Its a lot of risk on the Lambs side. They drafted a WR that doesn't look like Calvin Johnson and gave up a whole lot to get him. Austin would have to put up insanly better numbers that a WR they could have drafted at 16 for the trade to be worthwhile. Let alone comparing Austin to EJ and Kiko.

They bet big on Austin. The Lambs don't have a history of making great bets.

I disagree, three reasons really:

You are talking about rookies who haven't played a down in a real game.

Many things can happen between now and 3 years from now, you don't evaluate drafts until 3 years from now.

I'm confused about the third reason. 0:)

 

The third is something about washing.

 

You can't deny the historic lopsidedness of this trade; don't try coming back in this thread in 3 years and suggesting you called it either.
