So, Donahoe isn't happy with Bledsoe's performance

Clearly the one to blame is Eric Moulds. As our opponents realized Eric no longer needed as much attention yet our rookie was a double threat- speed AND hands- our opponents focused their deep help and also their underneath double primarily on Lee. Look at the Pitt game- they figured they could cover Moulds with single coverage by Chad Scott coming off 7 or 8 weeks from an injury- and they won the battle of the odds in doing so when Moulds lost two by his own poor handling of the ball while being single covered.

I didn't know it was Moulds' fault that three passes to Evans were underthrown, two very badly. And since this thread is about Kitna's weak arm, maybe you can explain how our big armed passer couldn't hit the Jets endzone from the 50?

And let's overlook the fact that the first four games were exploratory for MM. Those first four games were not Drew Bledsoe's fault in my recollection. The entire depth chart has been changed since that occured. That was Greggo's team and it no longer is.

How right you are !!!!

The coach was a rookie, and those were the "Travis Henry" Bills. MW was just geting in shape, and Mcnally was putting his best OL together. Oh, and Vincent AND Milloy were hurt.

Eliminate even one of those factors and another win would be very likely, but no....let's only blame the qb!:huh::):D:D

Very good post Bro!

No one is justifying "only blaming the QB."

But, just like every other position (including the often [unfairly] maligned offensive line), the quarterback needs to be held accountable.

Unfortunately for Drew's relatives that post on this board, the quarterback is undoubtedly the most important position on offense. If you're going to try and argue something as basic as this, please don't bother hitting the "reply" button.

People are upset that the board is a flurry of quarterback posts, but it's because that's the most important offensive position AND it's one that we are struggling at. It's a big issue this offseason, so get used to it.

If it will help you to evaluate Drew Bledsoe's performance here in Buffalo, just pretend his name is Shane Matthews.

Forget about the prestige, forget about the pedigree, forget about the name, forget about what he's done elsewhere - it doesn't matter. All that matters is what he's been able to do here.

And he hasn't shown us that he can consistently be a player that helps our team. Bottom line.
