Certainly, pro athletes with integrity instinctively give their best effort, are at least momentarily devastated upon suffering a tough loss, and are jubilant after a big win. They're invested in their job and to have a career that undoubtedly shortens your life, as well as makes it incredibly physically difficult as you age you want to be, and should be well compensated for that.
