"A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers."

Nope, this isn't what has happened at all.

The "least capable of producing" or any other ridiculous generalizations you feel are apt to describe the less than rich can also be known as the "least capable of influencing policy" the "least catered to constituency" or the "least rewarded economically"

Those "producers" who employs hundreds of people are far more responsible for policy directives and election outcomes than the lower class. So placing the "blame" for the current state of things on the ghosts and shadows of the lower class may work to appeal to an angry conservative base, but it doesnt really hold any water when looked at in depth.

That all makes sense....until you remember Obama is President. Which means currently the entire Federal government is predicated on blaming the producers.

I am sorry but you cannot escape this reality, and the reality that Wall Street put their money into Obama as much if not more than Hollywood. They knew which way the wind was blowing. They pay people for that. Now, those same people are telling them the wind is blowing the other way, and, Obama decided to virtually tar and feather them, in a lame attempt to cover for his massive mistakes in governing.

Now, you will see what you accurately described above. Do you blame the producers for fighting in a war that was declared on them?

The Non-Producers, who I can't fathom how they have become the bad guy, are the ones that spend all their money to keep this economy going... The protrayed Non-Producers are the ones that finance cars for 60 months and pay the cost of the car in interest, the ones that finance their homes and tend to never pay them off in theif lifetime paying interest over and over and over.... their the ones that sacrifice to send their kids to college much to the financial chagrin... their the ones that are out spending on average $750 on average in Christmas gifts, and this likely going on the credit card....

Let's keep pretending more money being funneled to the top is a good thing... from a purely consumer economy prespective, less money in the hands of the overspending is a really, really bad thing.

Look, I could care less... my wife and I earn in the top 3%.... but the ability of the Middle and Lower class to sustain this America will eventually come to an end... the cheap Chinese products will not be low enough to keep pace with decade after decade of stangant wages... Financing homes at 4% with 3% or less down will not be enough.... 84 months financing on vehicles will not be affordable... it will eventually fall apart when the 99% eithe rwake up and stop spending, or simple have no more dispoable income.

The Wealthy's rein will be short and bitter.... you can only be on top for so long as the foundations of this country crumble...

The people who know how to use Government as the great "Lever" to protect themselves and expand their personaly interests are not the "non-producers"..... if you believe the non-producers have the power in our purchased government, you are just being intellectually dishonest... and you know it.

To finish, while Government tends to benefits the "powerful", the real "power" remain firmly embedded in the masses... they just don't realize it... if the 95% were the least bit motivated, they should band together to not spend dollar for a month... that would sure be a statement, right? US Economy to a standstill.... they have the power to do it, but the Kardashians are on at 8PM so.....

The point was to illustrate who holds the power in this country.... and that less money in the hands fo those people is bad.... you do agree with that point, no?

Not really. There's some validity to what you write. And like you, I could care less, but unlike you, I don't need to write four paragraphs explaining why it is still concerning.

Slow day at work..... if we're gonna come here to discuss siuations, policies and country concerns I figure articulated thought is better that partisan generlizations and quipps... I leave that to our elected officials...

Go back and read the definition over and see if you can understand what was being said this time. Who again are the "non-producers"? They are not the ones spending all their money and borrowing, etc. The "non-producers" are the ones living off the rest and helping to vote the least capable into office.

This is really your answer to Larry's post? It doesn't even address his point. Class warfare is nothing but a made up phrase for the blowback from the middle class. You'll see this in most societies when the divide between the rich and poor start to reach the tipping point.

The woman in the above video is an idiot and I'm sure she got a rude awakening.

Exactly what percentage of the population is living off the rest of us? I think you greatly overestimate it. Obama was voted in by both a popular and electoral majority. Most of whom are producers that are slowly losing their ability to produce in an economy where the deck has been stacked against them.

Ineptocrasy is also a made up word. Much like atain.

Horseshit.

Really? Over 20 percent of all Americans depend COMPLETELY on social assistance for their "living". That number is on the upswing and is poised to explode when the baby boomers start "retiring" over the next few years.

Obama was voted in by both a popular and electoral majority.

Only an idiot would try to pass that off as a positive. There hasn't been a less qualified person to represent a party for the office, much less actually "win" the seat.

Most of whom are producers that are slowly losing their ability to produce in an economy where the deck has been stacked against them.

Which should be expected given the teeny differences between the retards in the Democratic party and the retards in the Republican party.

The more the government has gotten "involved" in trying to maintain "balance", the more out of balance everything has become.

So are you saying the retirees who spent 40+ years paying into the system are like parasites holding their hands out to the government for a check every month? Would you rather people be forced to work up until the day they die? I would much rather spend a few of my sunset years enjoying some rest and peace of mind before I die.

Obama is far from the less qualified person to represent a party for the office. He's not the best. Not to mention I didn't state it as a positive. I just stated a fact. He wouldn't have had a chance at the office if 30 years of poor financial policy and deregulation of the marketplace hadn't crashed the economy.

So, I guess that you would be for regulation that actually caused deregulation, like the CRA?

The CRA was enacted to protect consumers in certain geographic areas that were being lumped together and denied access to credit, including business loans, based on their neighborhood, not their own credit. CRA does not require quotas to be met nor forces banks and thrifts to make high-risk loans. In fact, CRA wording specifically cautions against it.

This did not force the banks to lend money to the sub prime market. They did this on their own.

What does the community organizer have to do with banks issuing credit to people who deserve it but are lumped into a larger group of those who don't. I think if you found yourself in this situation you might want something like the CRM.

Who do think was one of the CRA's "enforcers"? Banks issuing credit to people who deserve it? On what basis?

So this is an example of your ability to deduce a conclusion? No fear mongering or paranoia there.

Obama is far from the less qualified person to represent a party for the office.

Really? Name another Democrat or Republican "finalist" who had less on their resume. This should be fun.
