No Dareus No Bills win vs Pats no 3-0

Anyone notice Dareus getting double teamed, hang back, then tip the ball while being double teamed on the Florence PIck-6?

Is that coaching, the player or both?

Either way, our first round pick made a huge play that allowed us to beat the Pats*!

If he isn't there, that is probably ANOTHER complete pass to Welker in the slot, and the game goes a different way.

Not to mention that he is actually getting double teamed (unlike a former first round pick that plays for the Ravens) on every play.

If you watch the line play, the Chiefs, Raiders and Pats definitely game planned for him already.

This is the biggest 1st round, impact rookie for the Bills, since who? J. Kelly, B. Smith, and OJ, didn't exactly have great rookie years.

Please Stay healthy big guy and keep grinding! The stats don't matter the real fans know your worth.

Maybe since C. Bennett? Ya I know we traded for him, but he was #2 overall pick in the '87 draft and he didn't play for anyone else before he suited up for the Bills.

He's had an immediate impact..

Salt and Peppa (Williams and Dareus) are a menace against the run... we faced a healthy Jamal Charles, Darren McFadden and the hb delays of Woodhead and Benjarvis and was able to plug it up with 3 or 4 guys rushing...

We were able to turn our biggest weakness from last year into one of our greatest strengths, and that is what NFL teams need to be successful

Or dear god, can we please make the nicknames Salt n' Peppa permanent fixtures?!

And just think if Stevie Johnson catches that pass against the Steelers, we draft 8th and Dareus is playing for someone else.

Love the irony.

The kid is only getting better. He was having some troubles (cramping?) few times during the game, and I was surprised that Edwards was taking out both he and Kyle at the same for some significant time, but did anyone notice 6'6 350 pound DT rookie Kellen Heard with some inspired play? That dude can bullrush too. Our DLinemen are all animals.
