Bill from NYC Posted May 3, 2011 Share Posted May 3, 2011 Right. Fitz is the right QB for this team. They believe in him and he gets the most out of this offense as currently formed. What he did last year with substandard talent around him is really nothing short of miraculous. As to backups, I don't worry. The Bills will get one in free agency. None of them is going to be a star. They can just pick up a guy off the scrap heap. I am admittedly pissed that they didn't take McElroy in the 7th. I have seen him play a ton of games, and he is almost exactly like Fitz. Both are brilliant and this compensates for average arms. Because McElroy is SO smart, he will pick up the jets system rapidly. A 7th!!!! They couldn't spare a 7th? I just don't understand. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
