Back in '85 (?) when the Bears beat Dallas 44-7 (?) during that Super Bowl year (?), the Bears were heckling Danny White from the sidelines. Ditka yells at his players to shut up. Someone asked Ditka why, his answer was " Shut up or they will put Hogeboom in!", the players chucked a bit, looked confused, someone asked "what's wrong with that?" Ditka shouted back "Because Hogeboom is better than White!". I feel the same way about Kitna. I got a little nervous when Palmer went down yesterday.
