Eric Wood Status??

Saw Eric go down bad on leg and was wondering if anyone knew how bad it was. Urpik did a good job as a sub as far as I could tell.

Not sure on the official status, but I did see Eric walking around on the sideline and getting all pumped over some play that ended close to him on the sideline. He looked like he should be able to play next week, IMO.

If Urbik played well at RG, it might be a good idea to not rush Wood back and see what they have in him. He could possibly be the starting RG in the future, with Wood starting at center.

More good news in addition to the Bills victory Sunday over the Bengals. Eric Wood’s knee injury is not considered a major one.

 

“Not serious,” said head coach Chan Gailey after the game. “He couldve come back in the game in the pinch if we needed to.”

 

Wood will be re-evaluated on Monday.

Indeed it is. I saw the replay and it looked like he got it caught under another lineman while his leg was planted...again. I'm happy the early prognosis is positive.
