He plays a lot bigger and tougher than you'd expect. I've read he catches everything coming his way in OTA's. I understand his biggest knock was speed. But even a bit slow and small with a great work ethic and a bit of luck can lead to a good pro career.

 

There are certainly examples of second and third tier school receivers that succeeded in the NFL.

UB/BG highlights 2008

 

Most would consider UB beating Ball State in the MAC championship the programs greatest game, but two weeks earlier they had their greatest comeback ever. On the road, down 20 in the 4th, they tie and win in OT. That win sent them to the MAC championship.

 

And if you want to see the kind of WR Naaman Roosevelt is cue the video to 8:25 and see the hit this guy takes and he hangs on to the ball. See the key plays he made in that comeback. In fact you can skip everything before 8:25.
