Lintyfresh85
Would love to land this guy in a draft day trade. Maybe 3rd or 4th round pick? Anyone know if he's still on the team's radar?
/dev/null
I doubt Campbell goes for anything higher than a 4th. That said, considering that the 4th round is on Saturday, there won't be any news until Saturday morning
CosmicBills
Why? He's no better than any of the three QBs we already have. And that's saying something because the ones we have are pretty damn awful.

Oh yeah. That's right. On a team that had great coaching and a front office willing to spend, spend, spend. He's a scrub. Pass.

Taking Cambell would let the front office think they're "okay" at the QB position for another 3 years. And we will spend another 3 years being the laughing stock of the leauge. No thanks. If he sucks they move on , If Chan can develop him all the better If they invest a draft pick and contract extension in him (which is how it would happen), then they'd be FORCED to keep him locked in for 3 years. It's always about the money.

Risk having him have a great year (which he wouldn't but you have to manage risks) and letting him walk in Free Agency? No way.

CosmicBills
they can still sign him later you can not have it both ways it is a gamble eitehr way No it's not. That's the point. Campbell is no good. He's proven it on the field. Over and over again. So gambling that we can "fix" him is retarded. I'd rather take a gamble on a rookie than on Campbell. At least then you have a SHOT at getting the franchise QB this team desperately needs.
