We all know that JP is our 1st round pick this year. Whether he ends up being a top 10 pick or not is still yet to be determined. I'm excited about the guy and think that it was a good move to grab our QB of the future a year early. I just hope we don't end up giving up a top 10 pick to do it. That could make me nauseous.

If we end up sending a pick anywhere after 15 to dallas, I'll be able to sleep.

Where does that pick have to be to make you comfortable with the move???

I think were a middle of the pack team too. However, for me any pick outside a top 5 justifies JP. With the shortage of QBs in this years draft, no way would we have finished bad enough to get a star on the rise. Bottom line, IMO Donahoe made the right move last year.

It won't be a top ten, 15-20 range I believe. Bottom line is we have to keep winning to spite Dallas.

I agree with that. Anything over 15 is good with me.

For a while there, it looked like Dallas was going to get rich off of us, but now, it looks like there own #1 is going to be the higher of the two.

The "worth" of the Losman pick is not where it winds up in Dallas' hands. It sits with how he performs as a QB for the Buffalo Bills.

I agree I would be fine if the pick is #1 if JP is another Kelly.

Exactly.

As others have said, ultimately, it all depends upon how JP Losman plays. If he becomes a Pro Bowl caliber QB, I don't care if it ends up being the #1 pick.

It would also seem to be a necessary step to compare Losman to the Qb class this year.
