Jumping to those conclusions with Losman and Edwards have sunk this team. Now you'd be ok with them doing it again because the kid had some hype at draft time a few years ago and has played a couple good games? There's a slight difference between playing well against the league's bottom feeders during the first 6 weeks of the season (a la Edwards) and playing well against playoff teams jockeying for seeding positions in the final quarter of the season, wouldn't you say? My only point was that giving up a 3rd round pick for a guy that has shown a modicum of short term success at the NFL level is certainly no more risky than spending a 3rd round pick for a guy that has shown a modicum of success at the college level. What exactly would make you not okay with it? By the way, I just re-read the whole thread, who said he was ready to start full time?
