  1. It concerns me because if we go WR they may take our top rated CB. And if we go CB, they may take our top rated WR. There will still be other good choices available, but Tampa could throw a wrench into how we go about our draft.
  2. coverage should start at 2:30.
  3. Think about it. At pick 20, they are in a good position to draft talent AND value. They have the same needs as us too, so to speak. WR and CB. Tampa also plays the Cover 2 so they would be looking for a similar CB to what we would want. Tampa could go James Hardy or Antoine Cason. I think they will be an indirect factor in how we do our trades/picks. ANybody else see what I'm getting at?
  4. While I have been a strong proponent of us going WR in round one, the value is truly in round two. Although risky, it may be the best COA for us to go CB first and then WR, either by waiting or trading up a bit. Ultimately I think we'll trade down and go WR, which is wise. Personally I want us to draft James Hardy in round one, don't care where.
  5. nfl.com will have it.
  6. Heck, Anquan Boldin ran a 4.71! That's a horrible time. Like 260lb TE time. And he had 217 receiving yards his first game, 101 receptions his rookie season, two-time pro-bowler, fastest receiver to hit 300 receptions AND 400 receptions. 40 times are important, but they are not the be-all-to-end-all. 40 times are overrated.
  7. I don't think Dorsey will even fall to pick five. He'll go to either the Rams or Falcons. KC wants to trade down, but who would want to trade up that high? I hear the Saints want Dorsey, and if he "falls" to pick five, maybe KC gets a call from the Saints.
  8. Isn't Jay Glazer considered by many to be a total moron? Or is that everybody who considers him a moron?
  9. That's right! Squish the fish baby.
  10. When Shockey is healthy and focused his game is unstoppable.
  11. It all depends on how the draft unfolds, but I strongly believe we will trade down. You really seem to like Mayo.
  12. I agree. Bowman is a sleeper pick who could end up surprising some people. He could wind up being a draft steal in the later rounds.
  13. I heard the Saints were trying to get him. They were offering a second but the G-men wanted more. And apparently some folks in the Saints' FO don't want to offer more than a third or fourth. So the Saints brass is split. I hope he comes to Buffalo. I'm all for it. He would open up our offence. A second and a fourth? I say do it.
  14. You know which Dolphin I love? John Beck. He was so bad when we played them at home, I was in the stands just laughing my ass off. Seriously. I thought it was so funny, I was literally laughing uncontrollably. I was really mad when they yanked him for Cleo Lemon. Does anybody remember that play when Beck dropped back in the pocket and all of a sudden the ball just came out of his hand. It made no sense how it happened. Still to thi sday I can't figure out how it happened. It was so crazy, it defied the laws of both physics AND gravity. The ball just went up in the air and George Wilson grabbed it and returned it for a TD. Man was that funny to me. Ah, memories. P.S. I found it on youtube. Please all watch it so you too can re-live this great moment.
  15. Well, there's always that.
  16. I don't know what fantasy world you live in, but I would like to go there. While almost inconceivable, that would certainly be amazing. And a day to remember.
  17. I see your point. But I'm more worried about Moss and Welker.
  18. While Clayton had a good rookie year, he's been bust ever since. I don't care how fast Galloway is, at 36 he's a relic, and he still outplays Clayton. BTW, this trade isn't being reported anywhere else. What gives?
  19. I know a lot of the people on here don't like DRC. And I understand why. DRC is a freak athlete and has size. But his toughness is questionable, small school status gives cause for worry, and I'm no MD but the one kidney thing is a concern. I would rather have McKelvin or Cason personally. But the bottom line is, that is a sick mock. It covers all our needs. But it's not my preferred choice(s).
  20. Whaddaya expect Draft's tomorrow, after there will be nothing but griping over our draft picks! And then you can say, "yet ANOTHER complaint thread..........."
  21. Where would we pplay him though? He surly would be a great "value" pick, but adding to where there is need is a better way to go. Depth is important too, but I'd prefer to add it in the later rounds. I'm comfortable with Ellison and Di'Gorgio as our back ups, along with a late rounder or a UDFA.
  22. While it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that we will be looking at WR, CB, and TE early on, the question is: Who would be your "guys" that would your draft dream come true. Whether it's trades or standing pat, who do you want? Ideally I would love us to land: James Hardy-Pick 11. Antoine Cason-Trade up into bottom of first to get. Martellus Bennett-Get him in round three if you can.
  23. When I read that, I laughed because it was funny for the obvious reasons. Then I realized how scary that would be, and I stopped laughing.
