  1. Seriously, San Fran, get over it...TO left like 5 years ago.

And I love this gem from the San Fran Examiner..."but whatever he does, T.O. is a bad fit for the Bills. Buffalo is a working man’s city, with very good fans who appreciate good football, but who do not appreciate showboats. It’s not the big, national stage Owens likes for his antics, such as the one he had in Dallas, San Francisco and even in Philadelphia. The Buffalo fans may boo him off the stage."

Yeah, you know what we are a working class city and we do appreciate good football but you know what else San Fran Examiner? I for one am ready for a freakin' winning season, bring in TO and any other top player and they can showboat all they want as long as we win some freakin' games.

  2. I have been thinking about the same thing but with a different view. I think Josh Reed is going to post upgraded numbers if anyone. TO is also going to get a lot of passes as he can run those intermediate routes that Edwards can throw. Evans longer routes take time and Trent will need some renewed confidence to hang in there long enough to throw those passes. We need to get an offensive guard before I see Lee Evans excelling.

I think the passing game all around is going to be improved. both Lee and TO will command respect from DBacks and while TO is a receiver who can run the shorter routs and get pen, Lee is going to have a better opportunity to catch those deep balls. Throw Steve Johnson in there and we will have a pretty good passing game (assuming the O-line can hold up B-) )

  3. McGee’s chances to be re-signed in 2010 better now

By Chris Brown - Posted March 4th, 2009

With the signing of Drayton Florence to terms that are not breaking the bank, Buffalo should be in position to re-sign Terrence McGee next offseason when he’s to become a free agent or sooner.

Had Jabari Greer re-signed with Buffalo for upwards of $6M or more per season, it would have dramatically reduced the chances of McGee re-signing with the Bills after the 2009 season.

Yep. I agree. I guess you take the good with the bad because Florence is def a step down (at least we'll have Leodis to start opposite Mcgee)

  4. This actually makes me pretty mad. Why not offer Freddie a longer term deal? the Bills, IMO, should try to lock him up for the next 3-4 years. I just don't see the point of trying to sign him to a 1 year deal and then have to pay more to keep him next year. He is a solid, proven RB as a really solid backup and a better than average starter. Just give him a longer deal already!

  5. After the Bills lost their last game of the season and brought an end to this most disappointing season, this is what defensive co-Captain Donte Whitner had to say:

“My perspective is we underachieved as a football team,” Whitner said. “Someone brought it to my attention saying, ‘You guys went 2-8, or something crazy.’ I didn’t even look at it that way and that’s what happened. We are an underachieving football team and that’s what we are.”

Are you kidding me donte!?!? Yo didn't look at it that way?! How did you look at it when the team lost 8 of the last 10 games?! And you think it's disappointing?! No f*cking sh*t!

Oh and please Donte, don't guarantee sh*t next year!

  6. I'm getting kind of tired with some of the anti-Trent sentiment on this board. What do you guys suggest we do? Draft a qb in the first round or pay huge money for Matt Cassel? I don't consider myself a "Trent Lover" but the fact is we have MUCH bigger problems to worry about than our 2nd year QB- we need major help on both lines and still need another receiving threat.

I'm not saying I necessarily believe that Trent is the future of the franchise, I just believe that he performs well enough in only his second year to keep him in his starting role and give him at least a chance to play great and win games (give him an O-line that doesn't collapse in a swift wind and a couple more receiving options).

  7. I've actually been thinking a lot of the same things recently... Do the players love Jauron because he's so easy on them? I'm not sure if being a 'player's coach' is the attitude that gets wins. I really could give 2 sh*ts about how the players like the coach as long as he can get the most out of them and win games. I'm also sure the players would love a coach that beat them up and called them out as long as the team was winning. Either way, I've had enough with Jauron.
