From what we've all been hearing it's going to be 2 games at most... I think we're fine at Rb for those two games. Jackson's more than capable of carrying a full load of 20+ carries and Omon can take a few to change the pace.

I agree. I saw the headline for that article and literally laughed out loud at realfootball365's stupidity. The Bills now have a more balanced offensive attack, we are by no means a "pass first team". And now, hopefully than trying to only ram the ball down the defensive front 7's throat with our run game, we have more offensive threats. Perfect for the west coast style offense.

Heres how this conversation about number 81 went or is going to sound like..
Russ To Hardy: James your new number is 85...
That better be how it goes. Hardy hasn't prove he has the right to keep his number and besides he can learn a lot from a great receiver like TO (like how to catch a football)

If you were actually judging on-field performance instead of parroting meaningless stats you'd understand that Edwards has shown a very high degree of accuracy throughout most of his brief career.
Well said

I am not at all impressed with Turk's play calling. He is predictable.
However, with the addition of TO teams will no longer be able to stack the box to stop the run and double Lee Evans. The idea is that if teams stack the box, we can burn them with the pass. If a team doubles Lee up top, TO will be open underneath. If they double TO over the middle, there isnt a corner in the league that can run with Lee up top one on one. If a team sits in a nickle, there is no reason Marshawn should not be able to run all over a pass coverage formation.
If Trent plays well, we should have one of the most high powered offenses in the league. My major concern is Turk Schonerts vanilla, predictable offense. Last year, he couldn't make a call from a cell phone.
Im excited about TO's impact. Even if teams know our tendencies, they still have to play the game. With 2 pro bowl caliber wr's, a pro bowl caliber running back, and pro bowl LT, there is no doubt we have the personell.
I think with the addition of TO and him opposite Lee, both will have good oppurtunities to get open and the extra attention that the two of them will get should free up other receivers/TEs (like Pettigrew ) and will also help free up the run game for Beast Mode and Freddie. I'm excited for sure. I think we need to give Turk a chance though, last year wasn't great but let's see what happens with the added talent...

but I definitely look forward to having both TO and Evans in 2010.
Me too!

http://walterfootball.com/draft2007QB.php
A link I could fine and the site said he threw the worse pass he ever saw.
Yeah, well he has one of the ugliest web sites I have ever seen. I clicked the link and then I was like "where the sh-- is everything." and, as many of us know, walterfootball.com's homepage looks like it was designed by a 6 year old.

Just let it go. We can't really expect journalists to report the truth.
Isn't that what journalists are supposed to do? Rather than f*cking editorializing everything a la Bill O'Reilly?

Looks like we should have drafted Korrodi instead He's #1.
On a side note, I'm pretty disappointed in Group 1's effort. Group 2 really brought it today.
Thanks for posting this 3 year old piece of non-linked garbage. Real helpful in putting this debate to bed.
ouch... Don't pull any punches... haha

http://www.beachthe.net/category/general/n...06-nfl-combine/
Jay cutler was at 60 at 06 combine...
-
I think he is referring to the Cutler comparisons as to when Trent's arm strength comes up...
I would bet Cutler is near 65+
I would be interested to see Cutler's stats...I'm going to do a google search right now...
-
Trent Edwards arm strength has come into question over and over on this board so in an effort to put this to bed i'd like to show the facts...
Top 5 Results: Ball Speed (Group 1)
1. Troy Smith Ohio St. 58.5
2. Jeff Rowe Nevada 57
3. Drew Stanton Michigan St. 55.7
4. Jared Zabransky Boise St. 55.2
5. Paul Thompson Oklahoma 54.8
Top 5 Results: Ball Speed (Group 2)
1. Toby Korrodi Central Missouri St. 63
2. John Beck Brigham Young 61.1
3. Kevin Kolb Houston 55.3
4. Trent Edwards Stanford 55.2
5. James Pinkey East Carolina 53.9
Is this from the Rookie Combine? Also, I haven't heard too much talk of his arm strength for some time actually...

I, for one, think the Cowf*gs are going to suck this year.

Here's another sh-- article from San Fran. Saw it on the front page. Here's a particularly idiotic quote "nobody ever thinks of Buffalo. Even when the Bills reached four straight Super Bowls in the early 1990s, it seemed an eternal surprise they had reached that point. Considering that the franchise dates to 1960, I'd go as far as to say they're the most bland franchise in pro football history." The writer goes on to say that the story of the Bills is a story of wasted talent in Kelly, Kemp, Smith, Thurman, etc. What a DI-K! Again, get over it San Fran, TO left like 5 years ago... idiots...
-
I reminded the writer that Providence is a bigger shithole than backwater Buffalo could ever be.
haha! Yeah, I was just saying that. The whole state of Rhode Island is a pats* and red sox fan infested sh-- pile. the only good thing to come out of Rhode Island is Pawtucket Pat beer.

Yes, it comes with baggage, but, I'm sick of losing twice a year to NE, going 0-6 in the division last year and sick of not making the playoffs every year for the past 9 years.
This about sums up how I feel about it. Besides, if it doesn't work out this year, oh well, at least we tried and we can go a different rout.
-
Alas...too bad it's not the mid-80's 'cause then TO could have hung with Rick James and Eddie Murphy at the 2001 VIP Club.

I'm at work
what are some of the quotes, or a possible transcript, or maybe visualized hand language, somethin?

I have to agree with a lot of what DW said...Bills have 2 number one recievers, it will make it easier on Trent and open up the run game. Although, I'm not sure signing TO will help the Bills on D

Just send T.O. to Oliver Street in North Tonawanda with a roll or two of quarters, pack of parliaments, and a flask of jim beam and he'll be partying all night long. Might even end up with a not-so-high class working girl.
P-Funks and Bourbon! I love it!

Add Stroud to that list too
For sure, IMO, Stroud is the only D lineman that Offenses have to account for.
He reminds me of Benji Douglas a fictional DT I drafted in Madden 09 after the 2011 season... hahaha! needless to say, he has become an impact player for me

no Atlanta-like clubs which McGahee probably wants.
That's because McGAYhee is a F*G! He can go dance the night away like a homo in Baltimore
-
He should look in the mirror and say that...
haha! I bought a Schobel jersey about 4 years ago. Worst $85 I ever spent on the Bills
-
San Fran is just pissed they overpaid for Clements..
