  1. I endured the highs and lows of the Bledsoe era there. A lot of bittersweet memories. Mostly bitter. I thought their wings were pretty good and beer was cheap and most of all I had no other convenient options to see the Bills.

    I went there yesterday but they only had one tv and it didn't look like they had sunday ticket. I just ended up going to hoe bowl

  2. It was clear to me today why JP is on the bench. Although he made some good plays, overall a pretty poor performance. He held on to the ball too long in the pocket and just didn't look comfortable out there. As soon as Edwards went down I was like 'here we go again..' And I'm wondering with the way the team played today if they didn't feel demoralized after TE went down also.

    I know you can't win them all but to lose like that is not very fun.

    I'm glad the buy is coming up- get better Trent, we need you!

    That offsides penalty was the last straw I think, we had NO chance after that.

    Oh, and the O-line seemed to finally decide to run block a little.

  3. I did a quick search and didn't see it posted...

    Good read

    “It’s a much more efficient process now than last year,” said linebacker Paul Posluszny, who wears the device for the Buffalo Bills. “Just the couple seconds it takes to look at a wristband, it’s so much faster to hear the call and be able to say it right away, especially in tight situations where the offense is coming out towards us already, the coach can relay it to us as we’re going up to the line.”

    ...

    Because just one player at a time can be on the field with the device, the shuffling of personnel on third downs can set off as many wardrobe changes as a fashion show. Buffalo linebacker John DiGiorgio is the second player with the speaker. So if DiGiorgio and Posluszny are on the field at the same time, DiGiorgio wears a regular helmet. If Posluszny comes out, DiGiorgio has to change to a speaker helmet. And if DiGiorgio goes in on special teams, he has to go back to the speakerless helmet.

  4. "Remember how Jacksonville built a state-of-the-art stadium to accommodate a region that has no interest whatsoever in professional football? It's too bad they can't just move that stadium to Buffalo, like how you can move one of those "CAUTION: Wide Load" houses that you see occasionally on the highway."

    :lol::beer:

  5. Anyone else love the way we are handling our rookies right now? Yes, some would argue that the only way to get better is to throw players into the fire. But that can either make or break a player. We have such great depth right now, and other players finally stepping up (Reed, Youboty, Royal), that we can work these guys in slowly. I really only think that this can pay off in a great way. Don't get me wrong, I want to see Hardy, McKelvin, Ellis, Johnson, and Corner on the field to see what they can do, but I think this will only make them better. Next year, I'm afraid to see cuts because our depth is geting so strong.

    On a side note, I must apologize to Jauron for all the evil things i've said in my head. The man has a plan and it is working. He didn't have the talent for his plan at first, but it's a good plan and it's starting to show now. While I love a 4-0 start, I'm almost more excited about the years to come. Our team is so young and our needs in the draft aren't as alarming as they used to be, so now we just look to go from certain B players to A players. This is how dynasty's are built. Also, like we heard before and I never cared until now, the players just absolutely love him.

    Jauron, you are our coach and Trent is our QB. Keep leading the way.

    Case in point- JP in 05

  6. I believe we need to keep Greer and Crowell both if possible. I know Greer may be expensive but I don't think other teams will be making top-dollar offers. I guess it depends on who other FA CBs are. Anybody know a quick list?

    Also, I think Crowell is solid and I think we'll be able to pay what he deserves (i.e. not huge money), especially after this most recent stunt. I feel his FA value was hurt by what he did.
