Probably because he's not that good. He lost his starting job to Tannehill who sure wouldn't be confused with Mahomes or Allen.
I understand the Titans thought Tannehill was better. I thought he should get a chance to start again. Maybe he learned something (as Tribuski did) from watching.

Wasn’t his Raiders stint his second chance ? Whatever team Mariota ends up on next is his third chance. The fact that no team was interested in getting him as a starter post Titans says a lot.By 2nd chance, I meant to be a starter. I don't think he that got that with the Raiders.

May be talking to Luck or Rivers. Nothing surprises me anymore.
I'm not sure noodle arm Qbs go 2nd overall in any draft.

I wonder why Mariota hasn't had his 2nd chance yet. I haven't heard anything about him as he's a FA. I think Reich would be able to work with him. Plus it wouldn't cost any draft capital.

Goodell must be fuming due to the stain this POS QB and this POS owner have put on the NFL Shield. How sad.
I would have left had Vick been signed by the Bills, and he paid his dues. This POS learned nothing and got a huge pay raise. Unreal
Welcome to the bandwagon, there's plenty of room.

Hasn't the McKissic $ been consumed by the tsunami of the last couple days?
More than likely but Beane could find the 4 mill if he wanted to.

Breece Hall won’t make it to pick 57… other options at pick 57 might be Kenneth Walker or Isaiah Spiller… but I would rather go Breece Hall at 25 assuming he is still there than roll the dice at him being there at pick 57. I do agree we need to address the Cornerback position also.
Agree, that's why I previously stated that a trade back will probably be needed. 25 seems a little early for this CB needy team and after the combine he won't make it to 57.

Do you want to fill a hole or win a Superbowl? One of Patrick Peterson, Joe Haden, Richard Sherman or Xavier Rhodes would be a great 1 year stopgap signing for the Bils this year at CB. Breece Hall would make our offense much more potent and harder to defense. 6’1 220lbs with 4.39 40 speed.
I'm on board with B Hall but I don't think that the FO will go that route in the draft unless we sign a CB (no to Richard Sherman) and trade back from 25. Just my 2 cents.
Are you saying RB is a bigger need than CB? I think we need 2 CBs.

I'm going to pass on Richard Sherman because of his guilty plea and he looked like he lost a step. There others would fit and I trust the FO to make that call if they want but I think it's a really good draft for CB and WR and we will dip into both of those before RB.

I think I read that somewhere so I believe it. Still he fills 2 holes as RB/WR and KR. Flexibility is off the charts.

Trade down and a CB in FA or it doesn't happen. Unless he somehow falls to the 3rd round and that won't happen either.
I can't fathom a RB in 1st or 2nd round with CB as glaring a hole as it is. I could see CB in 1st and 2nd like last year's DE.

How’s his blocking?
We'll he's pretty new to the back field, but Falcons put him back there for that statue Ryan. He seems like such an interesting piece for the offense and ST.

That makes sense, though I'd prefer they offer the Mckissic money to C Patterson. He's would fill the 3rd down back and all return duties. 2 holes with 1 bird.

Always seemed like a good guy. Too young RIP!

I would really love to see the money/deal that JD Mckissic passed on go to C. Patterson. Hopefully that would be enough, maybe kick in some return bonuses...
As the the musical chair QB situation around the league gets sorted out. I wonder what it might cost to get Marriota as a backup for a year or 2? Although Colts and Seahawks still need a starter. So it might be to early still.

Outside of the Carolina connection to the occasional player, is there anything this organization does not do the right way?
-
Only way I see him or any other RB being drafted early: 1) A trade down from 25 and 2)We sign a CB (or 2)in FA. If these 2 things happen I'd love him as a Bill.
A RB in 1st round is a luxury pick that we can't afford as the team stands today.
-
20-0 Too early? I think NOT

My gut says we're drafting one or even two. Seems to be a rich CB draft. I don't know that I've seen the Bills linked to any FA CBs. Has anyone else?

I wonder if the Cards would take a 4th rounder for him? Too early??

Gronk probably stays in Tampa with Brady back.

Baker Mayfield says goodbye to Cleveland (update - Traded to Panthers)

With basically no bidders (except Seattle and maybe some unknown team), and only on a 1year deal, what is his trade value? a 3rd?
I almost always forget about Panthers. I guess they could be involved too.
