    That is just a ridiculous comparison. If you look at the statistics, historically Rex's teams were much superior to Schwartz's. Ironically, this is the worst defensive unit that Ryan has overseen in his career. Schwartz's D units always needed stars to excel, and that's why they dropped when Detroit lost some key players in '13.

     

    Bills D would very likely had been better this year with Schwartz in charge. It's a different question if the defense would be better in '16 and '17 which is what Pegulas care a lot more about.

     

    Or someone could say, for arguments sake, that Rex needs D players that are so-so that will do anything to buy into his scheme to make it and them work where as it simply doesn't work with star D players because they hate to drop back instead of creating push and going after QBs.

    The credit can't all go to Whaley for getting Darby. I'm sure Rex identified Darby as a perfect fit for his Defense, then advised Whaley. Sure Whaley had the final say and pulled the trigger on the pick, but I really doubt he was the one to discover Darby as "the guy" we need.

     

    I doubt it went like that at all. Scouts... Remember?

    Whaley and the rest of the scouting staff had been compiling reports on Darby for a year prior to the draft, as they do for most players. Now Rex, given his familiarity with the ACC through following his son's career at Clemson, probably new of Darby,but I doubt he had any opportunity for in depth analysis of him as a player until prior to the combine. A HC just doesn't have the time for scouting.

     

    Rex certainly had input, but it was the scouts that identified Darby as a good fit for man cover schemes long before Rex agreed.

    Pre-game Yahoo was fine, full hd quality, stable and well performing. Note that while watching streams, especially in HD, local problems often interfere. Notably incorrect configured WiFi (100Mbit WiFi doesn't mean it can sustain a 100 Mbit perse), unstable connections causing issues and simply having insufficient bandwidth.

     

    That said I switched to gamepass for the game because that allows me to set it to fullscreen.
