  1. In front of his locker Wednesday, Losman made some strong comments on the Bills' sluggish start. "Coach keeps telling us we're good," he said. "Well, I don't think we're good until we start making those plays. Until (there are) no offsides, no holding penalties, all those little things get corrected, then we'll be good."
  2. It sounds like he's selling them for face value, but got a discount for buying so many.
  3. I don't have a lot to add, but I'll be staying at Excalibur in a few weeks. It seemed like good bang for the buck. If you look around enough you can find reviews of both hotels. Tropicana feels like an older casino to stay at to me, but I've never stayed at either. Of course, given the amount of time you spend in your room it doesn't matter too much where you stay (at least for me) as long as you like the location.
  4. KNOCK IT DOWN!! Clements looked like he was trying to catch the ball.
  5. Actually it was net yards per attempt. I don't think it changes your point, but there's a big difference. I agree that the run and pass are intertwined, but I don't think that the author was trying to say that they weren't. I believe the point was the difference between a "top" running back and a "marginal" RB are minimal and that it's more critical to be able to pass effectively than run effectively.
  6. A couple factors come in to play: 1. The Bills had fewer picks this year with the trade for JP and the 6th rounder that was traded to Cleveland so there were more chances for the undrafted players to make it. 2. The Bills under TD have always seemed to favor rookies making the roster. It seems like they perfer to see rookies for a year when they aren't sure what they'll get out of them over what they do know from players that have been around for a season or two. Said another way, they keep the player they think has more upside. For example the Bills kept Sobieski and Sape in previous years, but now they cut those 2 for players like McFarland and Ritzmann.
  7. It seems to early too have MRI results. They would have had to do it in Indy to know the results already. It's more likely they did x-rays, which don't tell you a whole lot about most knee injuries.
