  1. Cap reasons
  2. could he be an answer for us at OLB. He still gets over 100 tackles a year and he would fill for us as well.
  3. I think Maluaga is going to be a great player as well, I just don't see anyway the Bills move Poz to another position in his second full year.
  4. I agree, my post had nothing to do with football really. This is a board of supposed Bills fans, and I thought it was a cool thing he was doing. When I shared the info it was met with a lot of negativity. As far as the Bills are concerned, I wouldn't mind a bunch of baby eating monsters out there. I just posted this to let people know that he was doing the whole blog thing.
  5. What is all this hatred for the guy. He seems to be a decent dude. I thought it was a nice gesture to reach out and interact with the fans. Guess I should have kept it to myself.
  6. wow, did I underestimate the hate for Donte Whitner on this board
  7. I asked him 3 questions: 1) Regardless of money and FA status, which defensive player in the league would you like added to the roster? 2) Are there any players in this years upcoming draft that you would like to see the Bills pick? and I can't remember the 3rd
  8. For all of you who have a facebook page, I added Donte about 3 months ago. He actually seems to check the thing retty often. Yesterday he started a video blog where you can send him questions and he said he would try to answer about 20 of them. Next week he said he's gonna have James Hardy over to be on the blog, and he would have various other teammates and friends. I just thought it was cool that he is making himself so available to the fans. He seems like a genuine person and a hardworker as opposed to a lot of the players out there today. People should check it out. In addition, he said on his blog today that his shoulder has been cleared for offseason workouts, so he'll definitely be ready to go by minicamp.
  9. That was awesome!!! In the NFL, however, he better make sure to choose those jumos wisely or else he'll end up blowing out his knee
  10. Agreed. I wasn't calling him a bust when he ran all over us to knock us out of playoff contention a few years ago
  11. It's not Hardy's fault that he was not thrown to. I remember numerous games where Chris Brown reported that Hardy was open downfield and not thrown to. He was also NOT used a Red Zone target at all. This is what infuriates me more than ever. We needed a big red zone threat, so we drafted one. Our OC and head coach, NEVER used him. The one play they did, he pulled down a huge catch against the Jags. I understand that it takes time for a WR to develop. There is no excuse AT ALL for not throwing a jump ball or fade route in the end zone. It takes barely any practice at all, and doesn't require crisp route running. He was under utilized all year, and I think if they did use him more he would have had at least 2-3 more TD's
  12. I can't wait for the draft. We really are in a position to fill a lot of holes in this draft. I will, however, cry if I hear Malcolm Jenkins or another CB name
  13. I have seen some mock drafts with us taking Orakpo, Brown, Pettigrew and even Oher. The latest one I saw has us taking Brian Cushing. While I really would like a DE I don't think I'd be upset with Cushing at all. He's a beast and I think with him, Poz and Mitchell we would have an exceptional LB core. Thoughts?
  14. I saw him play quite a few games last year. He's not as quick as he used to be, but man he can still open a hole. He's not going to get through to the second level as much. But if he needs to attack a blitzing LB or defensive lineman, he's still good. I agree, though, that we need and should get a GOOD fullback. Darian Barnes was fun on 60 seconds with Langston Walker but he wasn't what we needed. As far as McIntyre, I couldn't tell he was out on the field at all
  15. I believe he's a FA. We have been looking for a real FB to lead the way for Marshawn. I'd love to have him. Any of you agree?
  16. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1...15-ac41532f87fc
  17. I know we used it with Nate Clements a few years back. Is there anyone worth using it on this year?
  18. I still don't understand the move. Fans are outraged because of the product we put on the field. If we raised them, maybe it could have helped out chances of landing someone of value, but knowing RW, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Here's to another offseason of hoping that players like Will James and Ben Troupe will be studs!
  19. Agreed. Thank you!
  20. Clements, Winfield, P. Williams. But I'm more frustrated with the players that we don't get, rather than the ones who leave.
  21. I agree with most of what you said, but this easily becomes a non-issue if our geriatric owner would open up his wallet and pay the guy! I'm SICK of us not paying people, letting them walk, BUT we do give extensions to players who don't seem to ask for one, mediocre, run of the mill players like Denney and Kelsay, THEY get extensions and raises, but our most important offensive player can't receive a pay upgrade. We WON'T get Peppers, or Scott, or Suggs, or T.J. because we NEVFER spend money. It makes me sick. And it doesn't help that he's not raising ticket prices either. We have the CHEAPEST tickets in the world. I"M GOING CRAZY!!!!
  22. Yea. He has it this way 1) Wood 2) Unger 3) Mack 4) Shipley 5) Luigs
  23. Thanks! That was my next question too. I wanted to know where he would go in the draft. On BuffaloBills.com there is a clip of Mike Mayock talking about him with a few highlights. He seems like he could be very good. If anyone knows where he is projected on going, please show a link if you can
  24. Mike Mayock likes him better than Unger and Mack at the Center position, and he says he is even more suited for playing against a 3-4 front. Mayock is one of the only analysts that I listen to. Anyone know about this guy?
