  1. I think it saya alot that he didn't want to test the FA market and signed right away with the Bills. I think the Bills might be moving in the right direction and this is a good start.
  2. Love the signing! If he's healthy, it's a great signing for us.
  3. Did we all see the Pats game? TE is diff important! but we also have better needs right now.
  4. IF Shawne Merriman is healthy,we all know he can play. He could be a great addition to this team. I think he will sign a deal with us and i think thats a good thing. Everyone might think its a bad signing but i think its great IF he is healthy. Lets wait to judge until we see his health, after sitting out for a couple months now.
  5. Looks who's next to me.. Hank Baskett....... Man o man.. Your wife Kendra looks good.. She got me all hard thinking of her.. Does she have Picture messaging?
  6. Just a month and a half ago, starting safety Donte Whitner had said he and the Buffalo Bills were talking about a potential extension to keep him a member of the franchise. Even last week Whitner sounded optimistic about how the negotations had been going. How quickly things change. Early Thursday morning, Whitner sent out a rather peculiar pair of Tweets to all his followers: "Been up since 5 watching Dolphins film...received some not so good info yesterday Bills fans...My future here.... :-(" Later that day at One Bills Drive, Whitner cleared up exactly what that meant with reporters. "Well, things aren't going the way that I want them to go, or getting it done. So, it might come to me actually hitting the free agent market because we're far off. We're far off in everything so, that's what it's going to be." The follow up question is obvious. What went wrong between then and now in negotiations between the two sides? Whitner explained it all. "Because of how far apart we are and how late it is in the season," said Whitner. "Now if this were earlier in the season, it would be different. But we have, what, 15-16 days to the last game before it's all over? I don't really think it's a lot of time to play around. I want to be here, and let's see if Buffalo wants me to stay here." -wgr
  7. Whitner twitt's this morning that he heard some bad news yesterday about his future in Buffalo. Looks like the Bills front office might already giving away pink slips?

  9. Correct! Sooner or later the offensive will open up (Like it is right now) because of the talent we have at WR right now. Can Johnson be that great of a WR without Evans? Probably not. Anyone remember what happen to Price and Moulds after they left? Yup.... Wonder why they were so great in Buffalo... ummmmmm...
  10. If the running game was any good AT ALL, then Fitz wouldn't have to run the whole offense himself and throw the ball 50 times. If the run game was any good then it would open up big plays down the field. But when every play is throw, throw, throw, then who can blame Fitz for forcing a ball into tight areas, when the D is playing for the bomb. Fitz has been playing good and if he had any help at all, we would be winning and people wouldn't be talking about him choking. I guess he needs to go out and kick field goals also,or even take the ball and run it up the middle and be our RB as well.

  14. Agree.. Just saying that we finally got a offense.. Now we need the running game to finally get their act together.. The more Fitz and the WR core play together, the better they will get (I HOPE).. So far so good... When was the last time we seen a bills team hit the endzone so many times.... We might be 0-6 but it looks like we might have something here.. Developing and seeing what Nelson, Parrish and Johnson can do on the field is the main goal.
  15. should the Bills be 0-6 or 3-3? maybe..? I think we scored enough points to atleast win 3 of these games. With Trent in our first two games we only scored 10PTS and then 7PTS. Then Fitzs comes in and we score 30,14,26 and 34.. Anyone think with a good d-fence,that this team should be atleast 3 and 3 right now? also... other stats to look at. Steve Johnson 372 Yds 5TDS(These stats might of look better if Fitz was in the first two games) Terrell Owens 564 Yds 3TDS
  16. Lets not pump this up like the whole Chin thing.. We don't want to get our hopes to high.
  17. oh god! another coach wants to come here and we will end up with someone else.
  18. XX 1090 Radio with Lee''Hacksaw'' Hamilton in San Diego says the Bills are interviewing Jim Bates. He runs a 4-3.
  19. Sorry. just seen it on WGRZ and it said 2 hours ago,so i thought it was new. Can close this thread if you can.
  20. REPORTER: How interested were you in coaching in Buffalo? MARTY: Well, I wasn't certain, quite frankly, that I was interested in coaching, but Buddy Nix has been an associate of mine for a number of years. And Buddy in my opinion is one of the best personnel people I've ever been around. So, with that in mind, we had some discussions, but to suggest that I was ever a candidate would not be accurate... My discussions about it were really driven by the fact that I have such a high regard for Buddy Nix. REPORTER: Did Buddy reach out to you? MARTY: No. Buddy and I, having been together in San Diego for an extended period of time, are good friends, and, you know, we had some discussions about (my son) Brian Schottenheimer, and all. But, there was never a point in time that this was something that I was absolutely excited about doing, to be candid with you. Schottenheimer briefly discussed the report that Wilson was not interested in him. We asked him if it was true. "Not in my sense of it. No, I don't think so," Schottenheimer said. REPORTER: Were you disappointed at all that there didn't seem to be a massive level of interest from the Bills in bringing you in? MARTY: No, because I never considered myself a candidate. No, I didn't have any disappointment at all, because I was never a candidate in my view... My discussions, as they unfolded, were very preliminary and never got beyond that point. There was never any point in time in my opinion that I was committed to doing. WGRZ
  21. Well if their isn't anyone else out there that wants the job, then their is nothing you can really do. Nobody wants to come here and they really don't have many to pick from. I wish someone like Cowher would come here but what can you do. All we can hope is for some coach's to come here and turn this team around and hopefully others will look at us in a different way. All we can do is just HOPE!
