I was just making a joke. That's all. It may not have been a good joke, but that's all it was.
Well... in that case. Work on your material!

Wonder if he'll be tailgating with his pops.
His dad still tailgates at all the Bills games, right?
-
No charges have been filed. I'm sure that as soon as they are, he'll be heading to the exempt commissioner's permission list right along with AP and Hardy.

What I want to know is do the Bills have a strategy to contain Manti Te'o?
They've got his girlfriend tied up and locked in the basement. If he has an impact in the game, she gets it.

In fairness, I've been lobbying TBD to start up a kind of fashion forum sponsored by, say, Abercrombie and Fitch so you guys can have free reign to discuss bedazzling your uniforms. Scott says the demand isn't there, but I beg to differ. I bet a bunch of you guys are just dying to swap beads to match the different colors on the uniform collar.
You don't need to bash people just because power rankings aren't your thing. The only thing you succeeded in doing with this post is make yourself look like kind of a prick. You may not be one, I don't know you personally, so I can't make an informed decision on that point, but come on.
The title of this thread is "Power rankings thread." If you don't have any interest in the subject matter that is clearly denoted in the thread title, then why did you click on it? Do you just get a thrill from being a message board tough guy and insulting people whose interests don't completely align with yours? Get over yourself. If you see a thread title indicating that the discussion is about something you don't care for, move on. Don't join the discussion just to insult people.
To each his own. There are plenty of other threads to read. I could pass judgment and insult people over a number of opinions and interests on this board, but I have enough respect for others to let them carry on with their lives and save my ire for those who makes themselves feel bigger by bullying others with the type of BS you decided to add to this thread.

Is [\S] a code? I have trouble keeping up with the latest cool stuff.
Yup. It's code for [end sarcasm].

Any more cliches?
It's hard to win in the NFL. *ducks and covers*

Not to be negative, but the person who started this thread doesn't look so impressive.
j/k
Your avatar, on the other hand, looks quite impressive. At least from what I can tell on this smartphone screen.

They succeeded! I saw all 4 of them on camera during the game!

The only time I hears Wake's name today was when he was beaten on CJ's big run. Well played Seantrel.

I believe would fight it. But if the NFL decides they want to put it there, I believe they will get their way. Remember, the Raiders moved BACK to Oakland while the 49ers were there. It might take throwing some extra millions to Pegula to make it happen, though.
In a weird way, I'd welcome another team as a Bills fan. A bit of competition in the general region, might serve to keep this team more competitive, year after year. You know what 'they" say: Winning cures everything. If the team wins, the fans will come.
The Raiders were able to move back to Oakland because Davis had engineered some kind of legal loophole in which the Raiders retained their territorial rights to Oakland and reserved the right to return if the LA market did not perform to certain expectations.

Good question. I wonder if there has been a QB with less pocket presence and mobility than Bledsoe.
If there were, he probably wouldn't have been given the nickname Drew Deadslow...

I'm with you on thinking TO isn't the best place for an NFL team. But if they want to expand there, they will have no problem doing so, The International border makes these two distinctly different markets. The size of the combined markets is more than big enough to support two teams (though I would have an issue with an AFC team in TO). The Oakland situation provides precedent.
You know what I think is crazy? The 49ers have been relocated with nary a peep. The are now the San Jose 49ers. Is nobody complaining? Granted Candlestick Park was a horrendous football stadium, but to move nearly an hour away seems a bit drastic. I understand San Jose has many more people than San Francisco, but the are the SF 49ers, are they not? This would be like moving the Bills to Hamilton (without the border issue) and still calling them the Buffalo Bills. I wonder why more people aren't complaining.
More people aren't complaining because most of the 49ers' fans are from the south bay (around San Jose) anyway. And it's closer to half an hour than an hour. In all reality, SF is a suburb of San Jose.

Makes me wonder if we're missing something. This has the feel of a trap game in the making.
Can it really be a trap game if you are the concensus underdog? I thought in order for it to be a trap game, one requirement is that the team for which it is a trap is the clear and presumptuous favorite...
-
But, again, those particular teams are only in the same markets because one was in the AFL and one was in the NFL prior to the merger and remained in those markets after the merger took place.

Apologies for the multi post. The joys of a smart phone and a shoddy network connection.
The SF/Oakland metropolitan area, which in all reality the San Jose metropolitan area, is significantly larger that the Buffalo Market. Most are unaware, but the city of San Jose is the 10th largest city in America and the third largest in California (behind LA and San Diego) and SF and Oak are right behind at 4 and 5 respectively.
The Giants and Jets are in the nation's largest market.
Also, SF and the Giants were members of the NFL, Oakland and the Jests were part of the AFL. The fact that they were in those locations so when the merger took place is why they are so close together.
But the Raiders moved to LA, you say. That's true, they did. But in some roundabout way they managed to retain their territorial rights in Oakland, thereby enabling their move back.
Week 5: Who should be the starting QB?

Well... I guess that question has been answered. Glad I voted Orton...
