Yes, I would have to say that the level of competition he played against would affect my decision.
I guess we just see it differently. I would only take the school into consideration if I had two players rated identically.
Either way i can't wait for the draft. Nice sig BTW.

There are exceptions to every rule. DRC may become a good NFL starter, but I'm saying that taking him at 11 overall is too high.
But you're insinuating that taking him at 11 is too high only because of the school he went to. Tell me this, if this same player had played at Texas, and put up the same numbers at the combine, would advocate taking him then?

For those that have ordered from the website...
1. Do they not give any tracking numbers or give you any notice that your items have been shipped?
2. How long does it normally take to get your stuff?

That's pretty much my opinion on DRC as well. The 11th pick is too high for a guy that didn't even play 1-A.
So you would have passed on Randy Moss, Brian Westbrook, Terrance Mcgee, Jeremiah Trotter, Darren Sharper, Kurt Warner, Jimmy Smith, Steve McNair, Jerry Rice, Andre Reed, Matt Birk, Marcellus Wiley, Donald Driver, rashean Mathis, Dexter Coakley, Wayne Chrebet, Jerry Azumah, Adam Timmerman, Adam Vinatieri, Terrel Owens, Michael Strahan, Brian Finneran, Rodney Harrison, Chad Pennington, and Troy Brown? And trust me, there are many more.
And it might surprise you to know that 10.27% of the player in the NFL came from, wait for it.... wait for it... Division 1-AA.
Edit: BTW you always always ALWAYS look at the player, not the school, not the combine numbers (I really don't give a flying
if someone can run 40 yards 0.02 seconds faster than the next guy). Did he dominate the players lined up across from him? And does he fit in your system? That is what matters.

Saturday: First and second round of NFL Draft.
Sunday: Third through seventh round of the NFL Draft.
Monday: My vacation begins.
Tuesday: GTA 4 comes out.
Wednesday-Sunday: GTA 4 gets played.
This is gonna be fun. -

With no one covering him. And while he's rested and fresh as a daisy. And not looking out for a ball being thrown his way. And while he's on an indoor fast-track.
Screw everything he's ever done on the field against actual players, THIS is the determining factor.

I liked the Deadliest Catch series and this is somewhat similar. If I'm gonna watch reality TV I prefer seeing people with a sack rather than some NYC/LA wuss worried about his hair. Thoughts???
I watched a lot of deadliest catch and liked it, but i just haven't been pulled into this show as much. I'll still watch a few more episodes to see if Ilike it any better.
And I'm with you about the nambi-pambi girly men on other reality shows, can't stand that crap.

Pretty cool that we are the first team to play in the colts new stadium. And preseason or not, it's always nice to get a nationaly televised game.

Funny. I just don't see why everyone is making a big deal of this. It's the offseason and if Leinart wants to party let him. I don't see how people think that what he's doing now will affect him in 3 months.

Saw a little note on the NFL Network scroll that the Bills will be "on the clock" on their Wednesday Path to the Draft show. BTW, Marshall Faulk is not part of the Path to the Draft show

1. I agree that it's the biggest need.
2. Limas Sweed (assuming he is healthy) and Early Doucet are 1 and 2 for me. Kelly/ Thomas are a close 3rd/ 4th.
