WR - Davaris Daniels (son of Phillip Daniels) was a great prospect at Notre Dame during their title game season as a freshman. Then had academic issues and got booted. Great hands and body control. Good size. He's with someone in Canada last I knew.

I know offensive line is in need of help, but I don't see the players at the oline that could help even with depth. These three could be impact players even if we already got a DT and a LB in previous rounds. Phillips and Hurst would be solid on passing downs when Star is off the field especially after this season which I think will be Kyle's last.

Brown cant do anything for me now. Edmunds, Vanderesch and Milano as a starting group sounds great. Preferred this over a reach QB at 12.

Haha. I'd rather have a cartoon stampede go on the jumbotron signifying for the fans to stomp like crazy.
I know at Notre Dame on big third downs it would get loud and one of the main reasons was the crowd would take their keys out of their pockets and shake them. Felt like it made it 20% louder.

Absolutely college atmosphere with the team.
I have always wondered why the Bills don't have a band they keep the crowd even more into it and make it more fun.
Does the NFL allow bands? I know the Colts use to have one long ago.
You kid, but it's clear that this is truly a "team" in every sense of the word.
Did you see how crazy they were going after Tate caught that pass on that long conversion? This team has a college atmosphere, with a bunch of fringe players elevating each other every week and playing as a cohesive unit both on defense and offense (especially on defense).

Dareus obviously didn't fit in with the process, but a sixth round draft choice doesnt do much for me. Id rather just have held onto him, and hope that he could display an occasional burst of his true potential.
No one mentions that perhaps an owner didn't want to pay Marcel 10 million dollars for being near non-existent on the field. Dead cap hit is different than actually a hit to the wallet and the bottom line.
If Pegs came to Beane and said "get rid of this guy." Could you fault him? What of it was your 10 million dollars?

It's easy to find a RB that can rush for 1,200 yds. but it's hard to find a LB that can cover, Pressure and tackle well.
FYI...There were only six others in the league last year.
Do you think there are more than 7 linebackers that fit your description?
Just like RB by committee there are LB corps by committee. Thumpers on run situations, and athletes on third down.

I like this as a S option in the 2nd rounder. Very talented and has the measurements to be a huge threat.
However, I still like Marcus Williams from Utah more than Obi 1 Melifoni
I too like safety in Round 2, if the measurables get Obi off the board in round 1 then Budda Baker is my choice in Round 2. He is the opposite of Obi in terms of size and instincts.
Much smaller, but far better instincts, always seems to be around the ball.

Maybe he'll have some off the field issues that will drop him to 44. Assuming that doesn't happen. I would hope he is a guy the Bills would take if they were able find a trade partner to drop back to the mid-20s (which i know all bills fans are clamoring for, who doesnt love a trade down).

It looks more and more to me that both Hooker and Adams will be gone by the time the Bills pick. Not sure where I would want them to go with that pick yet WR is a possibility or CB if Lattimore is available. But I am liking the Bills targeting Obi Melifonwu more and more in the 2nd round. Not sure he will fall that far as his combine numbers were great. I have never been sold on Jabril Peppers in the top 2 rounds and even less so after seeing Melifonwu having better numbers in all categories and 5 inches taller and 10 pounds heavier. This is the size individual to match up on large tight ends in man to man. Serious question: every time some once-celebrated QB fizzles out in the NFL, people will make jokes about how he should be able to find a new job .... in the CFL. Yet this never seems to happen. Why not? I don't live along the Canadian border anymore (not for a long, long time) so I don't pay much attention to the CFL. (Does anyone?) My question: why wouldn't a mobile QB, good athlete who succeeded in a more wide open CFL style college offense get a shot to reboot his career up north? Is it a restriction on non-Canadian players? If not, why does this never seem to happen?
For starters the pay is Canada is nothing compared to the NFL. Nothing. A lot of players who havent met the minimum for the pension are looking to get back on NFL teams to count toward years of service. Thus, players are better off staying in shape and waiting for injuries to happen and roster spots to open up and sign late in the off-season or even mid season.
Also, if a player goes North and struggles (for any number of reasons) then it looks bad to future employers as "they should have dominated CFL" while if they get thrown into the fire midseason in the NFL, then poor performance seems to be "more understandable" because of the circumstances.

I mean with the best will in the world that is not an adjustment you need a 4 time Superbowl winning Head Coach to implement. And we didn't adjust at all. We spent the next 3 series running McCoy into the teeth of it.
That's the thing they ran McCoy into it, but they did it with two TE's and a Fullback. It plays into the defense's plan to stop the run.
More stretch plays and running the ball out of Shotgun in my opinion. Gets McCoy and Williams moving laterally finding a creasing then cutting into it.
Mulligan should never be on the field. Use an extra O-Line if you want a blocker as he presents near zero pass catching threat. On a couple plays he didn't even line up as eligible.

Successfully first seasons for a new coaching staff is about implementing parts of your system with the existing personnel and playing towards the strengths. Didn't see a lot of that in the first two games.

Poor game planning especially because I don't believe Edelman can beat them over the top. Bad strategy and no adjustment from coaching staff after the first 15 successful conversions from the Patriots.

It's a long season. I'm interested to see how they respond but I'm concerned.
How is it the defense can go from awesome last year to looking this bad by acquiring the "best defensive mind in the game".

The Bills need to be in passing packages at all times
- McCoy has run much better in wide open sets with WRs and no FBs. This is true through the first two weeks and his career in Philly.
- Robert Woods is a better number 3 WR than opponents #3 DB (as is Hogan).
- Robert Woods is better than Mulligan (as is Hogan).
- Charles Clay shouldn't have been paid the money he was paid to chip DEs and settle into the flat as a check down.
- Putting players into routes, rather than extra protection is a means to help the offensive line, by having quick hitters.
Spreading the field puts the Bills most talented players on the field, and presents the best situation to run out of. Can't fit a square peg into a round hole. Greg Roman, make the adjustments.

Does anyone think Brett Hundley will be there in the 2nd? Even trading up 12-15 spots to get him. He is insanely accurate, and athletic enough to extend plays.
He is the guy I want come the draft.

1st Round Mike Evans WR from Texas A&M
Great pick would be a great compliment to Woods. It would also give EJ another weapon. I feel like the BIlls need to give him tools for next season and if he doesn't prove he is the future after another 16 games. Then it is time to move on.
2nd Round Vic Beasley OLB Clemson
Like the pick, not sure if I love it. Fills a need would rather trade down into the 3rd as I really like a lot of the player slotted in that round.
3rd Round AJ McCarron QB Alabama
Like the pick, not sure if he can develop into a Championship QB. I couldn't think of a more prepared guy coming out of college though. Lots of starts, good game manager but has played with a superior offensive line.
The guy I would really like to see is the 6-5 WR from FSU Kelvin Benjamin. He is a monster and I see him as a slit out Tight End type player. I don't know about his inline blocking, but he has done a good job from what I have seen on WR screens and outside runs. He to me stretches the field between the hashes, something our offense is missing. DraftTek has him going 6 picks before our selection.
Kyle Van Noy - OLB from BYU - going 10 picks after our selection. He is a great player all over the field, has shown ability to cover and play all three downs. I think he is a plug and play starter from day one.
4th Round Tim Jackson DE North Carolina - Won't lie don't know much about this guy. I think his teammate Kareem Martin is much better. DraftTek has Martin in the 5th, I would take him in a heartbeat in the 5th if available.
Six picks after our selection Aaron Lynch OLB South Florida is slotted. He is listed at 6-6 244lb, he was larger than that his freshman year at ND. He is a pure pass rushing stud. He overpowered offense lineman when he was setup as a 3-4 DE as a freshman. I don't think he can cover that much, but thats not how he will make his living. He did have attitude issues while at Notre Dme supposedly.
5th Round Delon Belue - CB from Alabama - Not a bad pick, but as I mentioned I want Kareem Martin who is slotted to be available at our selection.
The draft does not address the need for a Safety and any upgrades or depth on the offensive line.
