I've taken some heat for mocking his pass pro lately. It's just been a fact that. He's not good in pass pro.
But two of his worst plays Thursday did lead to TD's.......Allen bolting from the pocket and throwing the TD pass to Beasley and running the other one in for a TD.
As I've said........the good things are that Ford is on Allen's front side so he can keep an eye on his whiffs and that Allen can get away and make big plays out of the pocket.
Sounds like it was all part of Brian “from the booth” Daboll’s scheme. Just like he drew it up.- 1

Move on. That was a terrific punt.

Lamar Jackson could've farted in Joe Tessitore's egg salad sandwich and the guy would've thanked him for it. I agree with others that feel the announcers need to be unbiased but there are narratives to be pushed. These guys run production meetings and outline their talking points and probably get told to focus a certain amount of time and attention towards certain players and situations. It's lame.
I actually can't stand listening to most of them. Al Davis on SNF is my guy and I used to not mind Collinsworth until he turned into a PFF shill and acts like every other play is the most incredible display of strength and skill he's ever seen. I wanted to throw a bowling pin at Rich Gannon this past Sunday. I wouldn't mind if Adam Archuleta had a bad taco and had to deal with the Hershey squirts for 72 hours. Even the hometown guy John Murphy I can't stand. He just doesn't sound good. I haven't heard much of Eric Wood but he seems to be doing well. Most games I keep the volume low and try not to pay attention to the commentary.
the Westwood one radio crews are the best. Boselli, Trent Green and Warner are good color guys who don’t speak up to much because the playboy play guys need more time for radio.Plus Kevin Harlen is the best voice and play by play in all of football.

Are the ravens in a position where they MUST sign Greg Roman to the largest coordinator deal ever??? Do you play him more than Harbaugh, to ensure he’s there to continue the offensive design around Lamar Jackson?
-
I honestly don’t think Tre would need top dollar to be happy. If I recall correctly all he wanted to do was buy his mom a house, setup his son for life, and build a community center in his hometown.
He’s signed for 4 years for 10m currently (average of 2.5m/year). Extend him 6 years (next year plus five). I think 6 years for 65million might do it. A solid signing bonus and good guarantees.

Derek Wolfe is another problem as he and Von Miller work well in tandem together when they're on the same side with various stunts so that side of the line will have their hands full.
wolfe is one of the most underrated defensive players in the league in my opinion.- 1

Is Chris Myers not aware that Haskins has played prior to today?!

McDermott is fine, he just needs to fire that waste of space OC.
But he was mentioned as a hot candidate for upcoming head coach jobs. These mentions were baffling to me as great offensive minds have their teams average 25ppg minimum. -

I do not thing the NFL has a tanking problem- I know the Browns did it and Miami is now but it is not a likely scenario since it taskes so many players to be good in the NFL. Basically no rookie will be good enough by himself to turn a team around and a team would have to be bad 5 years to get enough guys together to make it work and no GM survives 5 bad years.
Andrew Luck was for the Colts.

Bears gonna need defensive scoring like that with Trentative Trubisky behind center.
Ask and you shall receive.
please do this again for the Bills this week.

Take Brady off the Patriots and put him on the Bench behind Allen. Then don’t let him wear a red jersey in practice.

Josh Allen doesn't have to be Tom Brady or Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers. He just needs to be solid NFL quarterback who can manage a game and pull out a game winning drive from time to time when the chips are down. Put a QB like that along side our defense and a decent run game and we are going to be contending for championships.
Having said that, I would love to make a trip to Canton in twelve years to listen to Josh Allen's induction speech...
Canton in 12 years would mean a really short career when you factoring the HOF waiting period. But I guess if you win 7 straight Super Bowls you can retire after 8 seasons and still get the jacket.

Last night my friend called me up & said he had 2 extra tickets to the draft party so I said what the hell & my son & I took the 15 minute drive down Southwestern to the stadium. I thought it was pretty lame, they went all fancy with the food, not good, but there was free beer so I digress. Anyways, I ran into a friend from high school that works for the Bills. He let me in on a little secret. The Bills plan on running out real Buffalos before the games this fall. Kind of like what University of Colorado does. Not anything earth shattering but I think that is pretty cool. Anyways, carry on with your draft talk.
Love this idea. I have always wanted Pro games to be more like college. I think it would be awesome if they got a band (orchestra) made up of local musicians to play the home games.
Maybe the “band” together slogan means this?
Could take the stadium fan factor to or to an even better level. I think players would love it.

I don't think Metcalf will suck. He just may never be a typical #1 receiver. He only runs a few routes but he runs them really well. Teams would absolutely have to account for him and respect his deep threat.
To me he is Similar to Dez Bryant in that regard. Limited routes great size and strength.

I watch a lot of Notre Dame football and I am not sure Tillery is worth a 2nd round pick. He is really inconsistent a lot of his stats came in a single game last year. But he seems to be gaining momentum on the board for some reason.

Round 7 Pick 11: Boykin, Miles, WR, Notre Dame (A+)
I really think Boykin will end up helping any team with a decent QB. He ran pretty well at the combine too.

Is TN still the front-runner here?
There been no news on Saffold whatsoever the past 48 hours. Doubtful the market is drying up. Would love to get him on a 3/27M deal.
-
Haven’t heard the name Rodger Saffold at all over the last 48 hours in terms of visits or anything. While the Bills are desperate for a Tackle I would still like to see Saffold come in to lock up a G spot and have Long, and Teller compete for the other starting spot.

As much as there is a need for a WR and how weak the Free Agent TE crop is, it’s hard for me to not be frustrated if they pass on Irv Smith Jr in the 2nd round.
40. Buffalo Bills: A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss
41. Denver Broncos: Rock Ya-Sin, CB, Temple
42. Cincinnati Bengals: Irv Smith Jr., TE, Alabama- 1

why not run inside or off tackle, to ensure the clock runs.

radio is so different than TV for play by play
Kevin Harlin is #1 on radio play by play followed by the Greg Papa a former CNY guy who is in the SF Bay Area now.
