  1. Congradulations to the sabres, they played acceptionly well against the dangerous tampa bay lightening. Once again both Ty Conklin last night and Ryan Miller came up big for them in goal. Population Pominville is up to 31 goals. Buffalo on the power play sucked tonight, but did a great job on the penalty killing. I think the sabres with 11 games left will hold down 1st place

  2. Sorry 'bout the name screw up, Yasman. (If you read my posts you'll notice I play with all the handles here.)

You have lost ALL credibility with me with re:music if you thing the Dan blows. (Not that you give a rat's ass what I think.)

But, for the record, if what you know of Steely Dan comes from listening to the radio, you don't know squat about Steely Dan. They are not a commercial band and their best stuff never gets radio play. Some of their stuff was played (to death) on the radio, but it's not representative of their overall catalog.

With that said, their radio stuff is, quite clearly, the best stuff on the radio. But, if you listen to the radio, I wouldn't expect you to realize that.

well like thats just your opinion man.
  3. Two items to note from the 2003 OLB pre-draft SCOUT rankings:

    1. Contrary to Pyrite's continual ramblings, Crowell played OLB at Virginia and is not a slam dunk to switch positions from OLB to MLB to replace Fletcher. Although he was being groomed to backup Fletcher, he has played very little MLB in actual games. Having him play MLB is as much a crap shoot as starting a rookie who played his career at MLB.

    2. Notice that Lance Briggs was ranked 1 slot ahead of Crowell.

    Pos Pos

Rank Rating Name Yr Ht/Wt/40 College Home

OLB 1 Boss Bailey SR 6-4/218/- Georgia Folkston, GA

OLB 2 Nick Barnett SR 6-2/221/4.50 Oregon State Fontana, CA

OLB 3 Chaun Thompson SR 6-2/210/- West Texas A&M Mount Pleasant, TX

OLB 4 Antwan Peek SR 6-2/245/- Cincinnati Cincinnati, OH

OLB 5 Shurron Pierson JR 6-3/240/- South Florida Wildwood, FL

OLB 6 Cie Grant SR 6-2/220/- Ohio State New Philadelphia, OH

OLB 7 Pisa Tinoisamoa SR 6-0/222/- Hawaii Vista, CA

OLB 8 Lance Briggs SR 6-1/230/- Arizona Elk Grove, CA

OLB 9 Angelo Crowell SR 6-1/235/- Virginia Winston Salem, NC

he is now. Angelo Crowell is the only LB to have played all 3 line backer position
  4. I watched last night's game, there was honestly no one there, I don't know how there is a south east conference, even though the last 2 to win the stanely cup came from that division 2003-2004 Tampa Bay Lightening which there going down tonight and 2005-2006 carolina panthers, which it should have been our stanley cup championship, we got robbed!

  5. Very articulate. Holy crap I don't care too much about grammar when posting on a message board, but make a damned effort. It looks like you just went ahead and slammed your face on the keyboard. Gotta love the window lickers.
hey leave him alone, i'm sure you've made a typo error once in life time, we all do cut him some slack aight!
  6. Not much you can do. If you have what I had, first you will throw up for 24, with a little bit of squits from the backside. Then, just when that ends and you hope to sleep, it will suddenly start evacing liquid form from the backside every half hour for roughly 12 hours. All during which you neither will want to eat and even if you could you won't keep it in as it will come out oneside or the other.

I call it the vabills diet plan. Helped me meet my new years resolution in 2 days. :nana:

well i haven't puked yet, but on the bright side i do feel alittle better, my back still hurts, I also had a stomach virus back around during that time around new years i had it for 2 weeks, but i feel a little better now. I still feel like i got the sh!ts though
  7. What did you do to your back?
I was running trying to help one of my co-workers push carts up, as i was running my back spasmed out, I went to the doctors the next day saying its a muscle strain. I work at wegmans, and i used to push carts before i injured my self
  8. Great way to loss weight. I just got over it and dropped at least 12 pounds in 2 days. It was evacing from one side or the others, sometimes both sides ll at once.
umm just for your information Im trying to gain wieght not lose more weight. I don't need to lose anymore weight.
  9. most likely working for the first 3 hours of the draft because i usually work 7:00AM-3:30PM on saturdays, going to catch the rest at home, went to the bars though last year to watch the 2nd and 3rd round. Every one was cheering when we drafted ashton youboty.

  10. I love Sirius but Kirwin is Nuts, Just heard him say that Buffalo had a "really good defense" prior to losing Clements and Fletcher. What defense was he watching? They couldn't stop the run to save their lives! He also stated Thomas would be playing opposite Yobouty, what happened to Magee? He also thinks Pederson will be there at 12.
Not really, we did good in pass coverage, our run defense yes sucked but we didn't give up a lot of yards in the air last season. we left a gap from london fletcher's leaving because one he wanted to play some where else, and two he's old. nate clements is just an over paid corner back hope he sucks for the 49ers
  11. Bills not likely to receive compensatory picks

BILLS LIKELY WON'T GET COMPENSATORY PICKS: The odds are very long that the Bills will be awarded any compensatory draft picks by the league around the end of the month. The formula for determining what teams get compensatory picks is rooted mainly in what's called a net loss of free agents. You basically have to lose more free agents than you sign. If that has happened then the quality of the free agents and the contributions to their respective clubs is also taken into account with a formula that is more top secret than the material used to make Burt Reynolds wig.

In any event the reason the Bills probably won't get any compensatory picks for 2007 is because in 2006 Buffalo signed 13 free agents (counting the Oliver Gibsons and Matt Morgans of the world) and only lost three of their own (Justin Bannan, Ron Edwards and Trey Teague) to other clubs. Players that they released like Sam Adams, Lawyer Milloy, Jeff Posey, Bennie Anderson and Mike Williams don't count because the team chose to release them. Without a net loss the Bills are out of luck.

---We got 8 picks this year, only 2 down from last years draft, well we actually had 9 picks because we traded our 2nd round pick to the bears to take there place in the first round to get john mccargo

  12. Best:

#1- Washington Redskins (my all-time faves...love the logo, love the burgundy and yellow)

#2- Chicago Bears (So simple, the ultimate throwback uni!)

#3- Green Bay Packers (Kind of ugly, but relatively unchanged for decades- reek NFL tradition)

#4- St Louis Rams (the only recent uniform change that I think was an improvement)

#5- Oakland Raiders (Silver and black is just a cool combo, much as I hate the franchise)

    Worst:

#1- Cincinnati Bengals (they get worse with each modification- so ugly they are almost cool!)

#2- Buffalo Bills (would rank better if not for the road uniforms, home are not too bad!)

#3- Denver Broncos (the 1st team to go with that ugly side stripe- I hate that!)

#4- Tennessee Titans (WTF?- ties the Bills for most uses of the same color, blue! Just awful)

#5- Minnesota Vikings (their new uniforms are hideous, you don't have a lot of leeway if purple is your team color...)

Minnesota Vikings, actually I think they have the all time worst uniforms in the league, Dolphins well they're a girls team, turqoe and orange yuk.
