Cole Ford used to be an NFL kicker. Police say he opened fire on the home of Siegfried and Roy.
NFL Kicker
The Resume
(1973- )
Resides in Las Vegas
Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers
Kicker for Oakland Raiders (1995-97) and Buffalo Bills (1998)
Why he might be annoying
He is the suspect in drive-by shooting at Siegfried & Roy's home (September 21, 2004).
The shooter fired 4 shots and yelled that the pair should leave the country.
His white Chevrolet Astro minivan has been linked to the shooting.
In Kansas City, he commandeered his team bus, while the driver took a bathroom break. Packed with his teammates he drove the 'Colemobile' taking out stop signs en route back to the hotel.
He refused a reporter's request for an interview saying that the newspaper contained advertisements for escort services and penile augmentations.
He missed a 28-yard straight-on field goal in Tampa Bay, that would have won the game, instead it forced an overtime lose and cost the Raiders an opportunity to make the play-offs (1996).
In his last full NFL season, he kicked a horrendous field goal percentage of 59% (1997).
In a game for the Raiders, he missed three field goals and had one blocked and returned for a touchdown. The Raiders lost that game by just 1 point (September 1997).
He only played in 1 game for the Bills.
Why he might not be annoying
Although an Oakland Raider, he was clean cut and well groomed.
Raiders quarterback/broadcaster David Humm said 'He looked more like a banker than a kicker.'
He was a kicker for the University of Southern California Trojans.
In his first year in the NFL he connected on 8 of 9 field goal attempts.

I'm thinking it's bleak..... Hopefully not.
Maybe they could up their programming?? Bring back FanTV??
Or possibly a FoxSports affiliate can step in if it goes belly-up?
Bye-Bye Howard......
Empire was rumored to be sold in November.... I wonder if this is it?
There are two footballs in the Field House, one with Shane's hand outlined on it & one with JP's......
My 15 year old son has a bigger mitt than JP! I hope he can grip that "pigskin".
Not really, misty rain on & off all game, wind looked worse on the field than it felt from my seat(s). I sat in Section 338, row 1 in the 1st half, then down in section 133 in the 2nd half. The wind was not a factor in these two locations. On 'zona TD pass, Josh did not appear to have a problem getting the ball in the endzone, so possibly it let up then.
I was at the game & was suprised to see many fans leave when we went up 31-7 and the Ralph really emptied out when we hit 38.... I was glad to to stay to see another QB in the game for us.
XM is going to make a big upgrade in the very near future where they are going to offer an attachable 7 and 10 inch LCD screen and will be transmitting Sat TV to your vehicle and it will have enough of a buffer to give you smooth uninterupted audio/video feed.
Basically, they have put together a codec that is very similar to mpeg4 but with variable rate bandwidth. right now they are in the process of trying to figure out what video to market, how and to whom. the big problem is that even with an upgrade, the quality is not going to be anywhere close to what consumers have come to expect when watching live tv. the entire current XM bandwidth for all 100 channels is 4.8 Mb/s, about the same as one dbs mpeg 2 channel, adding new video content is going to involve adding additional transponder and bandwidth capacity, and that is not going to be easy as the FCC has allocated everything it has available in the L band.
Sirius is also said to be working on video.
