  1. Maybe the people in the center are correct when they blame them both.
  2. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/11/20/tra...wrap/index.html I'm not saying Obama deliberately threw his former rival a bone here, but he certainly didn't hurt taking away what was likely the only viable candidate that would challenge his re-election bid in two years...
  3. But he doesn't come right out and say it..."Out of respect to Butler...I don't want to say anything...blah, blah, blah." For the past two weeks he made veiled comments that left it open ended that he was either talking about Ralph or the fans...he clarified it today but I think that most of us agree with him so why doesn't he just come out and say it. He didn't have a problem openly ripping Ralph when he fired Donahoe and didn't have a problem ripping him when he voted against the labor agreement (which Ralph was actually right on.) So why the shroud of secrecy now? He's just being a drama queen. And for the record I was never particularly thrilled with what Donahoe did here anyway, regardless of what Ralph let him.
  4. None but it's a good thing that the Bills wins that came before that still count. Sorry if this ruins your emo-football mood but the Chiefs will be lucky to win 5 all year so chances are we will have more than them...and likely by a pretty good amount come the end of the season.
  5. Sure is what it sounds like. He hasn't been shy about openly criticizing Ralph in the past so why wouldn't he now? EDIT: OK so he didn't mean the fans but why not just call Ralph out like he has before?
  6. Yet only one win to show for it
  7. So...what would our record be now if we had traded for Tony Gonzalez? Our offense has sputtered since Josh Reed went out. There is no second option out there in the passing game that the other team fears. Put two guys on Evans and put the free safety over the top making Roscoe stay in and run patterns and then you've got two rookies and Royal out there. Having Gonzalez makes them game plan for two receivers and let's the other guys do things. I know some other factors have been in play such as the play calling and Trent's trigger shyness but would these things even be in play if Gonzalez was in our offense. Makes you wonder...and makes me hope that Mitchell or Poz or someone takes a few good shots at this jerk.
  8. I bet that JP will get handed a starter's job somewhere like Minnesota or Detroit. Somewhere where you don't need a brain, you just need an arm. He was a horrible choice by Donahoe with the offense his coaches planned on running. He doesn't fit into Jauron's offense either. And if Jauron is let go between now and the beginning of next year he will probably not fit into the enw coaches scheme either because as a Northeast team who plays outdoors, you usually need to run a balanced offense and a gun slinger is not the right guy for the job. Sure, Favre and Kelly and some of those guys are/were gunslingers but JP is not the same player.
  9. Did we not run a bootleg to Schouman when we were setting up the FG against Jax on 2nd down earlier this season? Even if you gain five yards...you're looking at 42 rather than 47...it's hard to understand...
  10. He has spoken highly of the talent on this team since the beginning of the season. Just saying...
  11. Yeah...he definitely throws it too...much into the field I guess??? He just chucks it when under pressure.
  12. Yup...on a play when he beautifully snuffed out a reverse...
  13. Zero percent chance they kick to McKelvin right now
  14. No kidding...just because they keep saying it won't make it so...
  15. Just beautiful...good effort rewarded with a mistake...
