I have to agree. 11+ wins seems reserved for teams with a top 10 QB.

I hired a scuba diver who patches pool liners as a side job. We couldn't even find the holes but we knew we had a leak. We now have two circular patches in the deep end (9 feet deep) that do not match the rest of the liner but as long as it holds I can live with it. Cost of a new liner: $3000.00 plus. Cost of the patch job and the entertainment of watching a scuba diver in your pool: $125.00.
We are on year three since the patch job. MY advice.... and I am a do it your selfer....Do not drain your pool and attempt a patch job by yourself. If it don't work you are right back where you started.

I understand the 14+ game starts and the 2/1 TD/INT ratio but with our running game, especially considering the OLine we just drafted, I won't expect 300 ypg.
Yeah 300 is way too high to expect. I could see about 200.

Tough losing next years 1, but we pick in or near the top 10 every year and still suck. There's worse things than taking a chance at a star. This team hasn't had a #1 since moulds.

closest comparison that comes to mind is eagles getting a 2nd rounder for mcnabb (who wasnt even worth that).
If a team is desperate id say a 3rd or 4th round is plenty.

The most critical need to be addressed in FA is free safety. Either sign Byrd or replace him.
Is that because its right infront of you? So signing Byrd = superbowl?
Point being, this team has a lot of needs. Fans tend to fixate on the big story, but a FS isn't going to make or break us.
Build through the draft is great I am all on board but we need a true #1 WR that teams respect and somewhat fear (sorry Stevie homers he is nothing more than a #2 and so is Woods), and we need a true threat at TE.
Defense is starting to come on,Offense has glaring needs at #1 WR, TE, OG and Depth. Oh and good Backup QB would be nice
I'd love to see goodwin form into a #1 in the Steve smith mold. I think he has the talent, but I don't know if he has the tenacity that Steve does to play that role.

how much of that has to do with personnel? Their WR's have been some of the worst in football.
