he means there nothing outside the norm was done to hurt MW's reputation. Their was nothing announced outside of what the league requirements say.
I concur and I think that their is a personality conflict with Urbik mostly because he is one of the five best linemen we have
Rudy! Rudy!
who knows whats going on there. thats more than a benching. I can't believe with the issues we've had there and the effort to fix(moving pears of all people) that we haven't given him a shot.
he was never allpro but he was definitely serviceable in the past.
it may not be his style with every player, because a good coach has to figure out how to motivate each player as differently as each person is. I do think it was a motivation tactic with MW.
Yes, all coaches should tailor they're tactics per player personality, but I feel he used a similar tactic with both.

I didn't want to start a thread and couldn't find a more appropriate place to ask this... But does anyone think Marrone's coaching style is to bench or demote a player to motivate them?
I think about woods from preseason being a 2nd teamer, then Mike williams being benched. Perhaps it's to light a fire under his ass?

Isn't passer rating differential often cited as one of the best predictors of super bowl teams?
Are there stats on this anywhere? This is an interesting subject. Also, id like to see the last 10 years passer rating winning percentage. As in how often did the team with the higher passer rating win that particular game.

Got it. Agree. I'm sure he will put a few people in there that are his guys, and evaluate the team. I'm also sure he is going to keep Brandon and Whaley, and likely Marrone unless we tank badly, which doesn't look like it will happen.
He is a fan. Most fans of the Bills see a clear difference in the team over the last two years. I think it's glaringly obvious. Others don't but I think most Bills fans think Brandon and Whaley are doing well in their respective jobs since they got those jobs. It looks like Pegula does, too.
Yep. I feel the pegulas are going to lean on russ heavily to help them acclimate to ownership. After that I can't see them dumping him. They will likely keep him in a prominent roll with the franchise.

This is pretty much how I picture the set

closer to an acceptable answer - but at this point it just comes off as "i thought it wouldnt be fun diving in there"
Or "I didn't think the cameras were watching"

Off the top of my head, Steve Young, Aikman, Rodgers (didn't play his first 3 years!), Warren Moon, Matt Stafford, etc. Please look at Orton's first 2 years.
We have no patience anymore. That's been my whole point with EJ. We used to allow Qbs to develop and make mistakes. Now everything is overreacting after every game. Quarterback is the hardest position to learn in sports.

Add Eli to that

He has been declining for a few years. No one has mentioned it but the Pats have gone to a run heavy O the past few seasons and built their roster that way. They have been going to a Brady-manage-the-game style for some time
how much of that has to do with personnel? Their WR's have been some of the worst in football.

Seems he expected 3-4 questions he didn't care to talk about and simply had a poorly written joke answer.
Poorly written, and apparently impossible to repeat the same way twice.

Does not one of these nimrods ask him why he keeps mentioning Donkey Kong Suh?
Even weirder than him saying it, is everyone pretending that he didn't.
-
hes doing his best Cassius Clay impersonation

Still don't understand why it's different now if he admitted to it before. But, whatever.
Surprised the video came out. I would think Rice and/or the Ravens would have paid more for that video than TMZ would.
One of those options is blackmail

He's gonna LeGarrette doing this

I heard Russell Wilson was too small and scrambly for this league too.
I don't think RW is the scrambler that JM is.

Hard to believe in 12 wins unless the QB is improved dramatically. I hope you're right.
I have to agree. 11+ wins seems reserved for teams with a top 10 QB.

I hired a scuba diver who patches pool liners as a side job. We couldn't even find the holes but we knew we had a leak. We now have two circular patches in the deep end (9 feet deep) that do not match the rest of the liner but as long as it holds I can live with it. Cost of a new liner: $3000.00 plus. Cost of the patch job and the entertainment of watching a scuba diver in your pool: $125.00.
We are on year three since the patch job. MY advice.... and I am a do it your selfer....Do not drain your pool and attempt a patch job by yourself. If it don't work you are right back where you started.
Lou
I've always used food coloring to help find the leak. Let out a couple drops and see if it pulls.

Rumor has it Irsay will request a trial by combat. This ties into his interest in the mountain, whom will likely be his champion.

Johnny Footlong?

I understand the 14+ game starts and the 2/1 TD/INT ratio but with our running game, especially considering the OLine we just drafted, I won't expect 300 ypg.
Yeah 300 is way too high to expect. I could see about 200.

It will be interesting how the depth chart shakes out. Looks like its between him and woods competing for the #2.

Can't wait to change your name to FireDoug?

not just height... arms

Tough losing next years 1, but we pick in or near the top 10 every year and still suck. There's worse things than taking a chance at a star. This team hasn't had a #1 since moulds.
Why I think Marrone should be fired...

Which one was that? Can't remember.. Although I have at tendency to block traumatic experiences from memory.
