That's a lot of money to give to a #3 QB. Don't understand the signing but will wait and see how it turns out before I dump all over it.
#3 QBs r now active so he can still play WR, KR and wildcat QB
-
Smith will be the #3 QB

JW,
Any word if the Bills have a plan B for their OT woes?
Erik Pears and Mansfield Wrotto
-
Jared Gaither is the guy to get he has top 10 OT upside. injuries is the only thing with him.
-
according to scouts inc all are significant upgrades over what we have and all are young with a lot of upside (though harris has had some injury issues). none are like Clabo in terms of size and mean streak though. i like trueblood alot, but oh well.
Colts drafted 2 OTs this year for a reason. Trueblood lets DEs walk to the QB. Harris is a zone blocking RT who in 4 yrs has played all 16 games once.
-
all 3 of those guys are below avg. and are small upgrades over what we have now.
-
Clabo only got five million a year....wow. 5 year 25 million
wow, wow, wow, wow. I have to think we offered more than that.

Falcons agreed to terms with RT Tyson Clabo.

little late with that link bro look at the other clabo thread

$13 million/yr for Clabo is obscene. That can't be right.
-
We had 0 probowlers on our O-line, until now.
If we give him 13 per we overpaid HUGE. Don't get me wrong i like him just not 13 mill like.
-
POZ was not a probowler, broke like glass & what did he bring ?
He got to the prowbowl by Peters not going so he was a back-up probowler. ans poz got 7 per and JAC overpaid for him. 13 per yr. is what top 5 LTs get not top 10 Rts.
The top LT in FA this year D.Free got 8 mill per yr. If we pay Clabo 13 per I'll be pissed we didn't offer Free a deal in that range.
-
$13 Million a season would make him a Buffalo Bills player, no way that ATL would even come close to that. It's double the average salary for a RT.
Yes we need a RT but $13 per yr. wow, I don't like that at all max I'd go is $9 and thats a nice deal for Clabo no way ATL goes that high imo.

Any word on if there is interest in Olsen?
traded to CAR 4 a pick and player

Bills signed No. 122 overall pick OT Chris Hairston to a four-year contract.
The Bills like Hairston's size, mean streak, and quickness. They've been connected to free agent Tyson Clabo. If a veteran signing falls through, the fourth-rounder out of Clemson will compete for the starting right tackle job.

Bills sign WR/KR Brad Smith (4 years, $15 million): A+ Grade
I absolutely love this signing. Brad Smith is a dynamic return man who will allow the Bills to do some different things on offense. Buffalo is getting Smith really cheap, essentially stealing him from a hated divisional rival.

Harris is a zone blocking RT which is why WAS has been linked to him to return with Shanny.
"A young, decent, zone-blocking right tackle, Ryan Harris struggled in Josh McDaniels' new offense. Harris will probably be heavily pursued this spring, though he's been injured a lot in the past two years. "
