  1. Awesome, thanks for the data on the D. I didn't see the game. If you don't mind doing this for the next game, I'd appreciate it.

okay, paid 20 bucks to get the preseason games on nfl.com, worth it imo.

    NICE WORK!

Not to get greedy, but if I may be greedy, if you have time to post the situation for each down - 3rd and 8, etc... that would be awesomely helpful.

    will do that next time

  2. Here is how we lined up last night with the 1st team D.

    1st Play

    Kelsay - Dareus - Williams - Edwards

    Barnett - Davis - Merriman

    McGee - Byrd - Wilson - McKelvin

Kelsay had his hand down. Merriman was lined up right by Edwards hand up. Barnett and Davis 5 yards from LOS shifted a bit to the left side. George Wilson comes up late behind Edwards/Merriman.

    2nd Play

    Kelsay - Dareus - Williams - Edwards

    Barnett - Davis - Merriman

    McGee - Byrd - Wilson - McKelvin

Kelsay has hand down again. Merriman over the slot WR.

    3rd Play

    Kelsay - Dareus - Williams - Merriman

    Barnett - Torbor

    McKelvin - Byrd - Wilson - McGee - D-Flo

Kelsay and Merriman have hand gown. Barnet blitzes. McGee is the slot.

    4th Play

    Kelsay - Dareus - Williams - Edwards

    Barnett - Davis - Merriman

    McGee - Byrd - Wilson - McKelvin

Kelsay had his hand down. Merriman was lined up right by Edwards hand up. Barnett and Davis 5 yards from LOS shifted a bit to the left side. George Wilson comes up late behind Edwards/Merriman.

    5th Play

    Kelsay - Dareus - Williams - Merriman

    Barnett - Torbor

    McKelvin - McGee - Wilson - Byrd - D-Flo

Kelsay hand down. Merriman on LOS but hand up. McGee in the slot.

    6th Play

    Byrd - Wilson - McGee - McKelvin

Kelsay hand down. Merriman in LOS by Edwards. Byrd 1-1 on the bottom. McGee in slot.

    8th Play

    Kelsay - Dareus - Edwards - Merriman

    Torbor - Barnett

    McKelvin - McGee - Wilson - Byrd - D-Flo

Kelsay & Merriman have hand down. McGee in slot.

    9th Play

    Kelsay - Dareus - Williams - Merriman

    Torbor - Barnett

    McKelvin - Wilson - Byrd - McGee - D-Flo

Kelsay & Merriman have hand down. McGee in slot.

    -----------------------------------------------------

After 9 plays Merriman came out and Kelsay took his spot while Carrington took over Kelsay spot. Then Kelsay came out after 1 play and Batten came in. Troup also saw action on the 3rd drive.

So Kelsay had his hand down every play with the 1st unit. Torbor is gonna be the nickle LB with Barnett and McGee will be the slot CB in nickle.

  3. Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic believes the Cardinals will only deal for Lee Evans "if the price is right."

It's the same attitude they took with Braylon Edwards and Malcom Floyd. The coaches want to get a long look at Andre Roberts and Early Doucet, so they won't be in a hurry to pull the trigger. Somers suspects GM Rod Graves won't part with more than a fifth-round pick for Evans.

  4. Ravens acquire WR Lee Evans from Bills for 4th-round pick

The Ravens are really grasping at straws with this trade. At 30 years old, Lee Evans has lost a step. He no longer has his speed and should be considered a mediocre No. 2 receiver at best. Making matters worse, he's going to have to learn a brand new offense in one month before the regular season begins. The track record of non-elite wideouts changing teams is dubious, so it'll be a shock if Evans contributes much in 2011.

As for the Bills, they did a good job getting something for Evans. They probably won't make the playoffs in the next two years, so why not secure a mid-round selection for a declining receiver?

  6. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Bills are close to trading Lee Evans to an undisclosed team.

Appearing on NFL Countdown Thursday night, Schefter confirmed that the Bills have indeed decided to move on from their 30-year-old deep threat, probably in exchange for a late-round pick. "It looks like a trade could be consummated within the next 48 hours," Schefter reported. The Cardinals are known to have interest in Evans, and the Ravens would be silly not to look.

  7. As an tOSU fan if we use anything more than a 4th it would be a bad move. I don't think he can be an NFL QB so I wouldn't even use a 4th on him maybe a 5th. He isn't accurate with the football, feet are sloppy and has a hitch in his motion, while he is a good runner he doesn't make people miss much like Young did at Texas. So imo put in a 5th for him we don't get him o'well we can find a QB in the draft next year. Watch out for Ryan Tannehill from Texas A&M think he is going to end up a mid 1st-early 2nd. Hwas a WR at one point at A&M so he is mobile.

  8. Free agent OLB Matt Roth has reportedly let teams know that he's available for a one-year, $3 million contract.

    -------------

The player rep for free agent LT Bryant McKinnie has emailed all 32 teams notifying them that McKinnie can be had for a one-year, $2.5 million contract.

Uh, Nix call them right now and get him in a Bills uni.

  9. I dont understand why your nuts are in a knot over this guy. The best he could pull is a 1 year deal. If he was any better than out cast of "warm bodies" dont you think that 1 of the 32 teams would have tied him up for more than 1 year.

injury history is probably why he got 1 yr. but he is still much better than the crap we have at RT. I guess my problem is the fact we are not even looking at a RT expect for Clabo.

  10. Yeah, this isn't a major thing.

yea we only let a starting-caliber right tackle go on a one year deal cuz we have a starting-caliber RT in Pears.

Fitz is gonna get killed with the right side of the line we have now.

O and we are only 20 mill under the cap couldn't shell out 2-3 mill for a NFL RT.

  11. http://www.rotoworld.com/

Eagles signed RT Ryan Harris to a one-year contract.

It's never a bad idea to lock up a starting-capable offensive lineman on the cheap. Harris, 26, will use this one-year deal to try to rehab his value and reenter the open market in 2012. Harris has missed 10 games due to injuries over the past two seasons, but he is an athletic blocker who will fit new OL coach Howard Mudd's scheme. The signing would seem to confirm concern that starting RT Winston Justice's knee isn't coming along quickly.
