lol it's amazing people still bring up jeff georges name. dude hasnt played in ages, what makes you think he could cut it now?
i mean at least we know he would throw downfield
-
im going to be honest, im happy we aren't getting gruden. i'm not sure what our defensive scheme would be under him given that he is an offensive guy, but if it was cover 2 like it was in tampa I would throw up in my mouth.
-
since when is the third-string qb "notable?" has he played a down ever? and if his name was "Joe Jones" instead of the cool-sounding "Gilbran Hamdan," would anybody give a f whether he was on the roster or not?
just asking. i still do not get the man-love for this guy. every time i've sen him play in the pre-season he looks terrible.
only if he has chroise!

The location (Buffalo) and talent (nearly none) will be hard enough to overcome but the Bills also have an owner who won't be around for too long (probably) and future ownership/locale that is completely unknown. This is not the kind of situation that any top coach/GM has any interest in.
Imagine you're Bill Cowher and every team wants you. You look at Buffalo, not knowing if you'll have any payroll in a year to sign a single player because the team ownership may be in flux for a year or two. No thanks.
The Bills "top" prospects will be guys like Schottenheimer who have been out for a while and want back in.
While I doubt that any top guy out there like Cowher, Holmgren, etc. would ever come here, I don't think a new owner would come in here and fire a sacred cow like any of them would be if they so happened to come here.

why is the lead singer of Jane's Addiction our new head coach???

Wow, WGR just reported he was fined $250,000

Jauron "This isn't my real job, you know."
Reporter "No?"
Jauron "Nope. My friend Trent and I are saving up to open our own pet store."
Reporter "That's nice."
Jauron "I got worms!"
Reporter "I beg your pardon?"
Jauron "That's what we're gonna call it. "I Got Worms!" We're gonna specialize in selling worm farms. You know, like ant farms."

3. Yesterday, Donte Whitner, the Bills' prized first round pick of 2005, was standing on the sideline watching an undrafted free agent and converted wide receiver take his place. Yes, folks, Donte Whitner was benched in favor of George Wilson. The excuses for Whitner over the years have been nothing sort of amazing. Dean, Ramius, C.Biscuit and even the venerable Tim Graham have had all kinds of excuses in their back pocket ready to justify Whitner's sub-par play and lack of impact: no pass rush, his supporting cast sucks, he's a leader, he holds pizza parties in his basement, he's my friend on Facebook!
Well he is my friend on facebook, and who doesn't love a pizza party?!

Because he makes plays and wins (didn't Belicheat have a thing for proven winners in his QB profile thing?).
And frankly, I don't think you read the link.
I heard the Tarkenton Interview, don't worry about me clicking your link.
Frankly, i live in Florida, seen the kid play. He's played in pretty much a spread option his whole life. And well that really doesn't translate well into the NFL (ex. Alex Smith). They are not winning because of him this year, they are winning because of their defense. He makes good decisions, but i just cant trust a QB who can't throw well and has never really played in cold weather. that's something you really want in buffalo?? again??
-
Actually this is why we draft Tebrow in the 2nd next year, he is right.
im sorry, but why would u want another qb who cant throw
-
wrapping up the ROY
-
i <3 byrd
-
I haven't seen his name at all.
Has he played? Any progress?
he is a bust, he was only good coming out of college cuz he played on the same line as mario williams

Kind of a goofy analogy, but everytime I see Trentative, I think of that movie.
I think we can all agree that Trent has shown glimpses of being a good QB but somewhere along the way he lost his balls.
Given who is available on the free agent market, and the fact that not to many qb's in the draft that are projected to be big time QB's in the NFL, is it worth it to stick it out with Edwards the rest of this year and see if he can get his balls back, or is the guy done in Buffalo?
I'm sorry, but thats bad mouthing Ricky Bobby, cuz i mean you actually have to have balls in the first place to lose them
-
Byrd, NFL Def ROY????
-
I think you mean MS Dos
Well he actually just figured out his Zach Morris Cell Phone
-
we ARE talking about a 3rd string qb right???
im off until i see him play AND win.
yeah but what else is there possibly to be excited about with this team at this point?

“Their hard work is really paying off,” said defensive coordinator Perry Fewell. “We give them as much of a game plan as we possibly can on Wednesday and Thursday and they come back with some great questions. They even come back with some answers that we hadn’t thought of. They have an idea of what’s going on and put a lot of time in just as we do. The best laid plans don’t always go as you want it to go, but they are putting a lot of time into it.”
WTF??!!!
What were the answers? Blitzing? 20 yard passes?? yeah cant believe this staff hasnt thought about that yet
-
and they seem to know what to do with their rookies. Ayers of Tennessee starting at outside linebacker? Hmm...who did we draft?
Most of this is because of the regime change in Denver. Mike Shanahan clearly wore out his welcome and Josh Daniels and Mike Nolan have provided a culture change in Denver.
Funny how a REGIME CHANGE can turn a franchise all around (hint: please turn on your windows 95 ralph and read this last sentence.)
-
Excellent analogy.
In fact, some would be insulted with a question like-- "Is Hamdan good?"; but Hamdan is cool with it, as he is all-forgiving.
is it too late to hop on the Hamdan bandwagon?
-
Nope. As previously noted, per the Bills' weekly releases: Nov. 15 @Tennessee, and Nov. 29 vs. Miami.
ahh misinformed thanks lori, don't believe everything you hear on the radio kids

wear their throwbacks against the Jets this week? Every other AFL team that played another AFL team did. Did Ole Russ just pack the wrong uni's or what?
Seriously though, I thought all games involving two AFL teams had both wearing the old uni's.
i believe they are wearing their home throwbacks, since they already wore their away throwbacks this year.
And that will be at home against the JETS on Thurs 12/3 since it will be broadcast on NFLN.

I think this guy is what we need in a qb.He was playing very well before he got hurt in Tampa.
Denver does not need him and he would probably come cheap.Simms is a winner and has a nice arm,
i think you just want to get matching tattoos with him too
How unwatchable is tonights Texans-Titans ganme?
