I've been corrupted... used to be all about naked wings only, but recently I've found myself enjoying breaded every now & then.

Even worse, it was crappy Hooters wings that started this recent change to the dark side...

A friend had a bunch of wings from Hooters at his place, and I was hungry enough to grab some. Despite being delivered, they were still tasted crispy & hot, and I'm a sucker for that traditional Buffalo sauce smell.

Ever since then, I've found myself flip flopping between naked & breaded. I may need to hang up my Buffalo card... If I ever start dipping in ranch, I'll be forced to become a Phins fan as punishment 🤢🤮

My Hooters story.  One day years ago (when Syracuse still had a Hooters in the mall) I was in the mood for some breaded wings and went there to place a to-go order, 50 wings.  They said it would be about 30 minutes so I went and did some shopping.  Come back and they can't find any record of my order.  Eventually they figured out that order system they use, the paper on a wire into the kitchen method, my order paper fell onto the floor and no one noticed.  The manager added an extra 25 wings onto my order and any drinks I wanted at the bar while I waited.  Worth it.  I had wings for days.

  2. I prefer a bigger wing.  Breading, it depends on if I'm in the mood for it.

Side story, back in the late 1980's, after spent a semester in WNY at college where I first found out about wings, I came home to find my local sub shop advertising they had wings.  Excitedly I ordered.  What did I get?  Full size drum sticks and wings.  Never ordered wings from them again.

  3. A recap for those that don't want to read all 18 previous pages.

Kevi is mad because the game is on Peacock.

Kevi owns a Bills Backers bar and has bought Peacock for the bar, but wants to watch at home.

Kevi doesn't seem to know he can login from home and watch it there.

    Peacock is $5.99 (or $60/year)

There is a student plan for $1.99, for those with a child in school

Instacart offers it for free with a subscription

If you can get channel 2 out of Buffalo, or CTV2 out of Canada, you can watch it there

AmEx card holders can get $20 back on a year subscription ($60)

SoCal Deek and teef offered to do play-by-play over the phone

RebelBill is hosting a watch party in Mississippi

i signed on last night after i learned we had it free with instacart.  it certainly seems like you can watch it on the basic package as i saved it like you did. i clicked on a movie to see the picture quality, and i had to sit through 160 seconds of commercials.  once that was over the movie started and i didn't see any more interruptions after about 30-45 mins of watching.

    Hallmark Christmas movie?

I’ve tagged him a few times. As the thread picks up steam it’s clear a lot of people are jumping in without checking.

Waiting for the OP to log back in and delete the thread out of embarrassment.

Hopefully he can provide us with a tagline so this thread can live in TBD infamy. It has a real “high level business meeting” vibe to it.

He disappeared shortly after admitting he does pay for Peacock for his bar, and people pointed out that he could use the same login to watch it at home.  I think they're done.

I love that he mentions the crown of the field. I remember sitting low in the 80s and 90s and barely being able to set the other side of the field because its so pronounced. Is it still like that? or have they flattened it out some?

I believe during one of the field replacements that the crown was reduced.  It's still there, just not as high.

If you own a Bills Backer bar you definitely need to find a way to have the game on. That could be unforgivable in some peoples eyes. Do it for your business.

He's already said he pays for Peacock at the bar (back on page 3) but wants to watch it at home.  Several people have pointed out that he could use the same login at home to watch it, since Peacock gives you three streams on one login.

    Oh, yeah.

Business is king. Of course I'm paying for it at the bar, so I can show it there.

ROI is a thing, and it's not lost on me.

It's separate, though. I don't want to sit in the bar. I want to watch at home where I already pay for several services that should deliver this game.

    Wait, what?!?!?!?

You already have a subscription, so you can watch it on three devices at once.   So watch it at home using the same login.

They will take our tax money to build the brand new stadium for a billionaire, but we can't even watch the effing game. Pathetic.

But I pay taxes that are being taken to build the stadium.

This is even more true with the surge in taxpayer funded stadiums.

I pay towards the stadium with taxes

It shouldn't be this hard to legally watch a game in my local market, especially a publicly subsidized one.

The game is being played in Cali, not Orchard Park.  Financing of the stadium is not relevant.

We just had a 20+ person breakout at my work. What crappy timing.

We won both games while I was in quarantine (I just got out today) and now my superstitious side says I shouldn't leave. XD

I was at a facility two weeks ago, working on just one wing of the entire place, and that happened to be the wing that they started seeing cases of it.  I did not need to quarantine, since we don't have direct patient interactions, but it was funny that out of a 200+ room building, the one wing with only 16 rooms is the one that caught it.  They think it was a speech therapist spreading it.
