  1. My point is that Cutler has a ton of offensive talent around him, and only managed to be average. Cutler's Oline was damn good last year, and if you can't see that... well... maybe you should watch another sport. Also, if you watched Cutler... you would realize he's able to hold onto the ball.
  2. Heh, are you seriously comparing Denver's offense with ours? Really? Cutler had 2 #1 receivers, a very good pass catching TE, one the top Olines in football, and an offensive minded coach in Shanahan. What did the Bills have? one #1 receiver, 2 RBs, an average (at best) Oline, and a #3 receiver. Cutler only managed an 86 QB rating with all that talent surrounding him. Maybe you should take Cutler's balls out of your mouth and actually compare the two rosters.
  3. For a QB that throws so many times... yeah it's the offensive line (#2 in the NFL in YPC, too). I'm not "incinuating" that it's bad, just saying the talent around him makes it much easier to play decently. He wouldn't be anywhere near as good if he were on the Bills. Not to mention Cutler hangs onto the ball.
  4. How are we going to pay both Peppers AND Peters?
  5. bull sh--. You put Cutler on this team, he probably wouldn't have a QB rating over 80. He was sacked 11 times on 600+ passes in Denver. Edwards was sacked 23 times on less than 400. Not to mention Denver was second in the league with 4.8 yards per rush.
  6. one throws the ball 40 times a game, and has a much better WR corps, TE, Oline. and a much better coach.
  7. Have you seen Denver's Oline? Cutler was sacked 11 times last year, and they were 2nd in the league in yards per carry. You are also forgetting Tony Scheffler.
  8. to name a few: Brandon Marshall Eddie Royal Tony Scheffler Ryan Clady Daniel Graham Mike Shanahan All are much better than anything the Bills had last year.
  9. Cutler will go from an offense with great talent, to one with merely average talent... if he comes here. He would most certainly regress.
  10. Right, so you recognize that Cutler has far superior talent around him? Glad we could come to an agreement.
  11. Cutler has been pretty OK, and that's with world class talent on the offensive side of the ball.
  12. Yeah, Cutler isn't that agile, as he's pretty average in that department. Cutler had a great offensive line last year, and every single stat shows it. The Broncos were 12th in yards and 2nd in YPC (not to mention giving up 11 sacks)... pretty bad running game right? How do you say Cutler is a better QB than Edwards, when TE has never had anything close to the talent that denver's offense has? Especially since their efficiency rating are so close? Do you deny that Cutler has far superior talent around him?
  13. 12th in total yards and 2nd in YPC. Pretty bad running game, eh? Cutler: sacked 11 times last year on 600+ passes Edwards: sacked 23 times last year on 375 passes Cutler had a far superior offensive line, WR corps, TE, and coach. Cutler is a product of talent around him, and throwing the ball 600+ times.
  14. Your stats are a result of throwing the ball 40 times a game. Cutler has a very similar QB rating and YPA to Edwards, all while having far superior talent around him.
  15. You really think some team will want a player who is nearly 30, that has held out for 3 years, and wants $13+ million a year? That's what he will be if he holds out the remaining years on his contract.
  16. 4.8 yards per carry. Which is second in the NFL.
  17. Peters has no leverage. If he holds out, no team will want him.
  18. Right there you show your ignorance. Jay Cutler had: a great offensive line, great WR, very good #2, a very good pass catching TE, AND a great running game. When was the last time Trent had that? Cutler was merely average last year, even though he had great talent on the offensive side of the ball.
  19. He could be had in the 3rd round because of the terrible year he had. People who want Scheffler should want Beckum, as hes a guy who can beat defenses between the seams of the zone. Travis will catch a ton of passes in the NFL because he is a physical specimen AND a good player (unlike a few TE's in this draft)
  20. Cutler is a decent QB surrounded by great players. I highly doubt he will be close to what he was last year.
  21. He's a pretty consistent OG. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1631 his name is pronounced "rhymes with off"
  22. Really, the O-line is one player away from being pretty solid. We just need to sign/draft a guard. (and get JP a new contract)
  23. Do you think the draft will do nothing? It's impossible to fill every single hole in one year.
  24. He throws the ball 40 times a game, of course he gets a few TDs.
