Ya think the brother is going to risk another charge after getting off (relatively) easy? I mean, maybe, but again, sammy's got the $100,000.I don't understand how it's clear cut. Did the guy show up in court with a personal check from Watkins and an affidavit certifying the signature was genuine? Did he bring a notarized paper trail showing where the money came from?
While guys on a Buffalo Bills fan board may be familiar with the details of his contract, assuming that a judge in FL has ever heard of Watkins much less knows what his contract says is fairly ridiculous. I imagine that's why he wanted Watkins there -- to testify that he does in fact have an NFL contract, $X of liquid funds, did post the bond, etc. That's the whole point, putting someone on the hook for coming up with the money. That happens via court testimony. People here seem to think the judge's job is to investigate that in his spare time.
If you're going to post million dollar bonds for people, you just might need to show up in court. Shocking concept.
Also, Florida, even though it seems so at times, isn't some third world country. They have the internets down there i'm fairly certain.

You are right - it certainly can. But in this particular case it seems pretty clear cut where the money came from if sammy signed the check. He can cover the $100,000.

If the brother wasn't eligible for bail, the judge wouldn't have set bail. I guess that point eludes you though. I guess his "black ass" deserves to rot for eternity before even being convicted. i can tell you this, i would love a half-brother of mine to death but theres no way im bailing him out if he got in that trouble bc he was in a gang. that means hes made a few terrible decisions already at least and im not going to compound it by letting him walk the streets like nothing happened. your own actions put you in there, your own actions can get you out

Whatever the case, Sammy Watkins is a nutcase, and needs to be cut ASAP. He's a liability and failed to show in court. Brilliant. Pay the bail; the judge asks you to come to court; he doesn't show. We have a mental genius here. Ugh.
Moreover, stop saying Jari McMiller is his bother. He isn't. He is his HALF-BROTHER. LOL. Huge difference. A half-brother is not family. They have the same father but different mothers. A half-sibling is like step-relative or maybe in-law, or not even that. I know I despise my half-brother and his family. Stay away from the gang-banger. That is one of the reasons the Bills don't want Watkins.
And...to make matters worse, Watkins has another half brother, Jaylen Watkins. But this half-brother come from a different father, as opposed to his other half-brother Jari, who comes from a different mother. This is screwed up. This entire family is trash.
And Sammy also has two daughters, each from a different mother. Unbelievable.
Sean McDermott only wants character players. Sammy Watkins clearly has none.

Im sorry tough guy, do you have inside info about exactly what occurred with him? Because I don't; and didn't on the 23rd of April when I made my comment. The "sheriff" simply said he was rehabbing nicely from his injury. Also, the actual "sheriff" said CK was polite and courteous throughout whatever occurred last month.Ha Ha---wake up & smell the coffee. There is certain parameters for professionals. There is a new sheriff in town---he'll be gone soon. Another wasted draft pick from the old regime.
