I think that the poster was referring to be block that Chadwick threw on Whitner, when Ricky Williams reversed field on a 3rd down play in the 2nd qtr.

Seriously? Dan Marino Chad Pennington threw for over 300 yards, completing more than 70% of his passes, without a turnover. That's abysmal, IMO.

I like Whitner, and I know that he'd been at SS until yesterday's game, but still -- the dude is definitely not what I'd call a "playmaker". He indirectly threw Losman under the bus for the AZ loss (another game in which the defense looked totally hapless). Who is he going to blame for yesterday's game?

The offense was bad today - too many turnovers and missed opportunities. But Pennington threw for over 300 yds, completed over 70% of his passes, and didn't have a turnover. The defense was a flat out embarrassment, IMO.

They played fairly well at Jacksonville, but they've gotten progressively worse over the last 3 road games. Little to no pressure on the QB, foolish penalties, and getting beaten on the same types of plays repeatedly (without adjustments from the staff). Opposing QBs (both on the road and at home) have completed passes against the Bills at an alarming rate of late.

I like Whitner...I really do. But is it too much to ask for him to make a play every now and then? 11. Agreed.

It's frustrating, to say the least, to see them come out flat so often. I don't know if it's the coaches, or the players, but this is an issue that needs to be addressed ASAP

I believe that he also failed to sustain a block on Jackson's 3rd and goal run on the Bills' opening drive.
