That is the same guy that posted this gem...I'm guessing he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Allen is good but massively overrated. I've always said this. He's flash like a sports car. Tua is smarter, more methodical , more accurate and still has 85% of the arm strength which is the only thing some people talk about. I'd never switch Tua for Allen and the above stats show I'm right in that thinking. I mean everyone is saying Allen is the best PLAYER in the game, that's what the jerks on TV keep saying. So Tua has mostly better stats than the supposed best PLAYER in the NFL. What does that tell you?

Thanks to all of the posters that take the time to wade through other fan message board cesspools and find these gems, I don't know how you do it.  I can barely keep up here at TBD!

Ugh.....  Hoping for the best for Hyde.  Usually getting a 2nd opinion means whatever the issue is, it is pretty serious.  Forget this game, I'm worried this could be the end of his season, if not worse.  Obviously, his health is the #1 priority and I hope that he makes a full recovery.

That said, with him out, Tre already out, and now Jackson and Poyer not practicing today, what was once the strongest group on our team is now 100% backups and rookies heading into a game against maybe the best WR group we will play all season.  Not ideal to say the least.

Obviously not ideal missing all of this talent in the secondary, but the Bills scheme is strong and the coaches will plan around the strengths of who they are able to get out on the field.

And poor Taron Johnson, always the forgotten man!  All this talk about all rookies and backups now in the secondary, nobody remembers that the Bills have one of the top nickle corners in the league in their secondary.

A sweeping statement, is correct, regarding these bottom feeders.

They pocket the dough, and keep the suckers coming. If there are natural disasters, or situations where their 'Teleflock', might need some sort of assistance, they are nowhere to be found..

I dunno Bart, seems like Pat Robertson tries to assist his Teleflock in times of natural disaster...😉

    Virgil -

Thanks for posting these.  They're great.   I haven't finished this one, because I got stuck on #1.

I didn't think of Henry's lack of success being attributable to his finally hitting the wall - which makes me sad for him, because he has been absolutely magnificent for several years, but I think you may be right.  I'd like to think the Bills had the perfect defense, and they did play the run really well.

What I notice about Henry was that everyone was taking him down at the knees and below.   Poyer early on, I think the time Miller got him in the backfield, Elam, and one or two other guys.   If they got close to him, they went low and did a good job wrapping up his legs.  Henry went down almost immediately when that happened.  He'd get the yard or two from falling forward, but he didn't break any of those tackles.  I think in years past, he'd stay upright, pull his legs out of the tackle and keep going.

He definitely didn't look like the guy we've seen previously.

I noticed that they were wrapping Henry up low as well and commented on it specifically on Elam's tackle since he came into the draft with a bit of a reputation for not liking big contact...good run support there by the rook.  However there was one tackle of Henry that stood out for me as a bit of a wow moment, and it was when Edmunds went high on him and took him down with ease.  That is something which simply doesn't happen often at all.  Big boy tackling right there.

I gotta give McDaniel credit for not sounding like every other HC in the league with the same generic and canned responses. He comes across as really genuine and doesn’t take himself too seriously.

He doesn't sound like every other coach in the NFL, I'll give you that...but "really genuine"?  He can't possibly believe the crap he spews about Tua, can he?

    MAJOR UPDATE!!!

The border restrictions for going into Canada appear to be ending on Sept 30th. Meaning no more ArriveCAN app, free and easy border crossing (sans traffic, of course) pre-Covid will return!

@GugnyI can still get you that 6 pack of Rush Golden Ale. We can meet up Saturday before the game.

I guess that the Federal government doesn't give a damn about the Blue Jays and potentially maintaining their unfair home field advantage if they actually sneak into the playoffs.

Highmark looked stunning in the overhead shots which aired during the match.

One of the first things I noticed when we took our seats was the Goodyear Blimp floating overhead, as if we needed further confirmation that this team had arrived!

  9. Two game small sample size, but one thing I am seeing from this Bills squad that has been lacking is the put-away killer instinct.  Both weeks the Bills have gone up big in the second half and didn’t allow the opponent a single point.  They are punching teams in the face and then stepping on their throat.  I’ve seen so many Bills teams where this just isn’t the case and the team falls asleep once they race out to a lead…but the attitude this year just seems different.  There is no let-up this year, and they are breaking teams caught in their wake.
