Was hoping to see a CB called up from PS for Miami too. Howard is wounded and will take a beating vs. Diggs and company even if he plays. In our 7 game winning streak vs the fish we’ve scored in the 30’s in 6 of 7 games. I Expect us to be around 30 going into the 4th quarter.

If Howard isn’t right and he suits up he is going to get toasted by Diggs…

    Tim Tindale.

    LOL

Love this, thanks for the Tindale memories!  He’s from my hometown, played his HS and college ball here (it’s even homecoming weekend here at his alma mater, Western, where my daughter is going to school), and he was just put in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame earlier this year along with one Marv Levy.

I will say that the Phins gave the Bills some issues last year in their second match up. They’re prolly looking at that game tape for scheme strategies. We also saw both the Rams and the Titans able to keep things close in the first half.

What we’ve seen so far is that DCs have schemes that slow the Bills down, but as soon as they big brain football themselves into a tendency or weakness they spot in the other teams defense…it’s all over.

True on that second Miami game last year, but that game was the start of the offensive funk the team went through in November, with the infamous Jags game the following week.  It wasn’t until the second half against Tampa that the offense started to show signs of getting it right again.

I agree with him that Jaquan is ready, but I wonder how much of this is just a  former ‘Cane supporting another. I guess what lends this more credibility is that Mongo played here and saw Jaquan day-to-day.

True, but what gives it less credibility is that Mongo tweeted it 😉

Tua has played 25 games so far.  In those approximately 100 quarters of football, he has looked like an top end QB in 1.  His own team was looking to replace him (with a serial sexual predator) as recently as a few months ago.  The hype train has been fueled by 1% of his quarters of play while the doubts are a result of the other 99%.    I realize this is a bit of an exaggeration and that Tua has had a few nice plays mixed into his overall sub par career, but even his own team and their fans would not have told you he was the answer at QB until the most recent quarter of football.

The NFL is the ultimate "what have you done for me lately?" hot-take machine.  Damn the 99%, I just saw him do something!

We are going to be in for a dogfight this week.

We'll be starting 2 rookies at corner and no way will Hyde be able to play.  Tre remains out of course.

That's a lot of shoes to fill, and Hill is as dangerous an offensive weapon as this league has, while Jaylen Waddle is a superstar in the making.

They will definitely HURT us in this game.  Will it be enough for Miami to win?  I don't think so.

But they will get their points here and there.

I kinda remember this story from back when it was playing out...when news broke about them closing their doors Olsteen released a statement about how the arena was a bowl and was below grade, so it was unsafe as it was a flood risk, or something to that extent.  I didn't realize that he changed course after that and actually did open up.  If that's the case, what changed?  Did the building suddenly become safe??

Miami can't pressure the QB and this guy thinks they have an excellent defensive line LOL.

I hear u, but we have 2 good dlines as well. Ogbah is excellent imo, and I’ll take Phillips over Rousseau. Wilkins is excellent, and Davis is a problem in the run game. All Sieler seems to do is make plays, and Jenkins is a good back up for Davis. Van Ginkel, Ingram, Flowers, technically LBs but really play edge…u get my point. Excellent dline on our side too, and how much money have Flowers and Ingram made in their careers? They aren’t dead yet. I’ll give you that their pass rush is probably a little better from their dline, but overall talent wise it isn’t that much better than ours. Then you consider Ogbah is one of the best in the league at batting balls and we have 2 of the best blitzing safeties in the league, there’s more than one way to skin a cat. We can and should beat these guys right now. Unlikely to happen in the snow…

I don't know why I enjoy reading the Finheaven forum so much, but stuff like this is making for an amusing Friday morning.  Just when I thought I had seen the most delusional post, another one comes along.  This guy thinks the dolphins have a more talented 53 than the Bills and that their D line and defense is just as good.  You can't make this stuff up!

100% going to depend on the OL. If we can stimy, or at least mitigate that beast ass D line they have, we're in business. Especially on 3rd down.

It’s not that great. Our dline and defense in general is just as good as theirs. We just need Tua to keep playing like he did in the second half last week and we will win. Obviously their defense is better than Baltimores, but they got injuries and don’t have as much talent on the 53 as we do, contingent on the performance of Tua Tagovailoa. I believe.

Wait a minute...this guy is basically saying they just need Tua to throw 10 TD's and they will win?  Hate to say he's probably right...if Tua throws 10 TD's Buffalo are in trouble 😆

We just need Tua to keep playing like he did in the second half last week and we will win.

  7. Ya, Josh better not give up his day job...

There are sure to be more Josh commercials coming, so I just hope the ad geniuses realize that Josh's best role is playing the straight man.  Whoever the next company is that chooses Josh to rep their product should talk to the Bills social team about how to use Josh in their ads.

This team passed good a long time ago. You don't constantly break historical records or do things that no team in NFL history has ever done by being good. "Good" teams don't win 20 games in a row by more than 10 points.

Sorry, you are absolutely correct...I wasn't emphatic enough with my euphemisms 😁

Sounds like some guys are already resigning themselves to us losing.  Yeah they have some scary receivers.  Yeah our D is banged up in the secondary and a little on the line.  We still have an offense too guys.  We still have Josh Allen.  We still have Diggs.  Gabe might be back.  We still have Knox I think.  We still have some good slot guys.  Stop being so scared of losing because Tua lol.

We see that every week here.  Guys thinking Bills would lose to the Rams.  Then after beating on the Rams in LA people were worried about the Titans coming off a loss to the Giants and we saw how that turned out.  Now it's the Dolphins and big bad Tua, fresh off his one quarter of good play, and the board are getting their collective panties in a bunch.  This fanbase has been down for so long some fans don't know how to react to success...next thing you know you see threads popping up about missing the losing...WTF are you kidding me???

Look, this team is good with a chance to be great.  Probably the best Bills team I have seen in my lifetime.  Don't let a few injuries to the secondary scare you when the Bills are facing a noodle-armed QB that has done exactly zero against a McD/Frazier defense in his first two seasons.  Yeah he has some fast receivers, but we have a new and improved monster of a D line to get after him, and our own Superman under center when we have the ball.

    Bills by a billion.

Canada is so bad. You can’t run on second and long with a middling passing game. They are not good enough to

have Basically one chance on third down to convert through the air.

Leave us outta this eh? Don’t ya know we only get 3 downs? 🇨🇦

Can we stop with this narrative?  Taron Johnson and Benford/Elam are also starters in the secondary.  2 out of our 3 starting CBs are healthy and nobody has been ruled out for the game.  Is the secondary situation ideal?  Of course not, but "our entire starting secondary" is not injured and out of practice today.

There you go, ruining a perfectly good narrative by quoting facts 😉
