  1. That's what I thought. Cool so our line is good for a long time and if the others on this site are right we wont have to sign many players next year esp if we extend Freddy like we should be doing. Besides Moorman, Martin and Merriman.
  2. http://www.kffl.com/static/nfl/features/freeagents/fa.php?option=By+Team&y=2013 This website shows him as we FA I thought we just extended him not to long ago?
  3. They do have Hairison as well they played great and is young but still we can sure up this line with one pick in this draft for many years. Use the rest on DL and CB. Get a WR in FA seeing as their are a massive amount of them out there.
  4. This is what I was thinking as well. I really don't think we drop down. Jonthan Martin I think will be the pick. Just what I am thinking.
  5. I saw that on billsdaily.com the ending got me a little pumped for FA this year as well. This is a good year esp for WR. The more and more I think about it if we don't move down it will be LT Martin. Ofcourse Bell signing or not ahs a lot to do with that and i know they are talking with Bell but even if we sign Bell... I know it's crazy but we could still draft Martin. God knows we need depth on this team. Sounds like Buddy thinks he can use his second adn third pick for a passrusher and besides Floyd I don't think a WR that high is worth it.
  6. Bills havn't tagged a player since Nate... Don't think this will happen. What do you know DR.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. billsdaily.com says they are 2 mil apart... is that alot? Negotiations Today: Representatives for the Bills and Stevie Johnson will meet today in Indianapolis to continue contract negotiations. The two sides swapped proposals earlier this month and reports say they are about $2 Million a year apart at this time. Today's meeting will not result in a new deal but will go a long way in determining if the team has a chance at keeping Johnson off the free agent market.
  8. I like this idea as well. I don't know much about his college play as one mentioned he sucked at UT worry about that if it's true cuz he may be right about RM getting under looked at my D-fenses with all the others on the team. I like that we could sign him and SJ. Still have money for a DL or CB. To the people that say their are many better WR out there... no crap. Yea I'd love having Bowe and V. Jackson but that means we don't sign Stevie. Maybe in a fantasy world we sign SJ and get V. Jackson but that is not going to happen. Meachem is a realist choice and we can keep Stevie. If we sign V. Jackson it's a wash out... Next year we will be saying well now we need to sign a guy to compliment Jackson... I like Meachem and I like Lee Evans... I know Evans coming back for cheap sounds crazy but hey he prob wont have many people looking at him after last year and he is not too old. 30yo. He has a fan base here and is a deep threat. As long as he knew he was a number two guy or even three on the depth chart. With all that said. I like RM too. Good post he is on my want list as well along with a CB or a DL (that can pass rush) and a OT in the draft... Or sign Bell and draft other passrusher in the draft but at 10 I don't see a great pick so I am leaning towards not signing bell and drafting... damn his name slipped my head the tackle from stanford. I am really excited aabout ourt o-line this year!
  9. That makes sense... like I said I have read a few times that is doesn't make sense to cut him so I was sure there is a reason somewhere in there. Let's just hope he can play for more then 1/2 a season.
  10. So with only 1/2 mil in dead money and over 5 mil agaist the cap? Shouldn't Merriman be cut?
  11. I posted anothee thread about Merriman. Do we really save over 5 mil in CAP on him? Isn't that a no brainer to cut him as well. Even though I like him. I agree with the rest of your list except Johnson I can see him cut but that is just another hoel to fill. Thigpen was horilble all year... in Camp, preseason and in the season. 2 mil Cap i;d cut him. We have plenty of picks this year to use on a backup QB.
  12. Sorry for the multiple posts about the Bills Cap but I am bored and tring to figure this out. http://www.nyjetscap.com/Bills/bills2012.php This site seems to make it sound like it's a no brainer to cut SM. Over 5 mil in cap savings but I read in a few places that there is no point in cutting SM that they might as well keep him around and see if he can get healthy? What does dead money mean?
  13. http://www.nyjetscap.com/Bills/bills2012.php This site says that we can save over 4 mil on the cap if we cut him and he does not fit the Bills new D atleast that's what billsdaily says: "Defensive Changes Hurts Some Players: The change to the 4-3 defensive will help some players but hurt others. Dave Wannstedt said in yesterday's press conference that the team wants defensive linemen that can rush the passer and lighter, faster linebackers. He said he doesn't want one dimensional type players that can play the run but not get pressure on the quarterback. This does not bode well for Alex Carrington and Dwan Edwards. Edwards is a prototypical 3-4 defensive end and doesn't have the pass rushing ability to be a 4-3 end. Carrington went back and forth between end and linebacker in the 3-4 but doesn't seem to fit the new scheme as well." Carrington might not fit the D as well but I can see them keeping him around for depth cuz he is cheep and young. Does this make sense or am I wrong about this? That 4 mil for Edwards would be nice to use on FAs.
  14. Did he do the Lights Out thing after his sack? I thought I saw him do it. Just checkin.
  15. I saw that and was laughing... can we now stop playing these CAN games and play in the city that actually supports the bills and has for 52 years.
  16. I have it on the DVR but dont know how to pull it off. I cracked the joke that she should have been fined for excessive celebration.
  17. I didn't until my gf's dad saw it... dvr'ed it and yep got her a handfull.
  18. What happens when you get to the SB everything is going as planned and she says "Oh no... WIDE RIGHT!!!!!' and then breaks down in tears... you think it's over and she will never give you another chance but you do get 3 more dates and each one is worse than the one before.
  19. PM sent with my email... Any idea on price? I think I will get a large.
  20. That's right he did have an INT... I remember thinks finally he gets an INT. Aslo you are right about the lack of presure... I think we really missed having Aaron on the D-line last year.
  21. I don't know much about D-fence styles but he went from 9 INT to 0 just by swiching to a 3-4??? I think we should get him back there doing what he does best and ballhalk.
  22. He did... It was 2 years ago vs, Tenn. I was there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1tvH1UixjQ It's at 4:40
  23. Thanks man. I was just reading this on NFL.com http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8208dddb/article/nfl-owners-players-burn-midnight-oil-in-thursday-labor-talks?module=HP_headlines It kinda answered my question... Every year I seem kinda surprised on how short the TCs are. I guess I was thinking they would have already started. The video in that article says they think July 15th everything will be settled... I hope so I don't want preseason to be cut.
