  1. It's cool man, I knew it would stir things up a bit. I like to that from time to time, just tired of the all arguments here being about the same crap.
  2. Thanks Pete. I'm just tired of the boring drool that some posters post over and over and over... There are so many people on here that are opinionated yet they're not sure about what they are opinionated about.
  3. My bad, next thread I'll start will be about which WR is a reach or maybe I'll post a mock draft so all of the positive minded posters here can tell me why I'm wrong and there right. As far as it being a Bills message board, I guess talking who got the better deal the Vikes or the Chiefs would be more appropriate.
  4. Very hard for some. I grew up here in South Florida and it's not heaven. You grow up with people who you grow to care for as brothers and sometimes those "brothers" can get you in a lot of trouble. Some can't shake it. Look at Vick, Jones, The Bengals and such. Here was a guy who was full of talent with bad character and now he has emerged as what to me seems like a good character guy. I respect anyone who can pull themselves away from the they grew up with and change how people perceive them.
  5. I'm sure plenty are willing to argue considering that most people on here know so much more then everyone else.
  6. Where in my post did it say that? I was just stating that the guy seems to have turned his life around. Obviously you still see him as a guy who was arrested for murder. I see him as a guy who had a second chance and ran with it.
  7. I don't think it's lauding him for keeping his nose clean as much as it is for him turning his life around seemingly.
  8. The weird thing is that I wasn't trying to imply anything. I just saw him on ESPN and though "wow this guy seems to have done a 180". Now, though, I like what it does imply. People can change.

  10. lol Actually I just give the guy props for turning his life around. I think he's one of the NFL's good guys now.
  11. Just 8 years ago this guy was arrested for double murder due to associating himself with the wrong people. He had a few character flaws coming from the U and now, to me at least, he seems to be one of the better leaders and personalities in the league.
  12. I actually think that it wasn't a bad move. Allen should do well considering the Vikes have the best DT tandem in the league already. It's going to cause some real match-up problems for OC's.
  13. I used to think that but now I think that the competition just makes the QB's paranoid and unable to concentrate on being a leader. How many times since Kelly have we had guys fighting for the QB spot and yet it hasn't done squat for any of them.
  14. I'll shoot myself in the foot if we draft EITHER of those guys. Also I meant later as in not pick #11. There is no WR that is worthy of that slot.
  15. I can agree to disagree . It's one of my favorite things to do.
  16. Being as slow as he is he better not be carrying anything on his shoulders each week.
  17. I agree whole heartedly. People are over-estimating the need for WR. While one is needed, We'd be better suited to go with later on.
  18. Right but at the same time just because Kelly is pretty good at those things and not great then speed is a factor for him. Kelly was a mid first round WR at best when people thought he could run a 4.5 but he has dropped because of those .02 sec. He didn't drop because he got any worse at coming off the line He dropped because coming off the line really well will only get you so far unless you have an elite or exceptional set of hands, size and amazing route running. That combination is rare and while Kelly has good hands and good size that's about where it ends for him. If he had shown that he could run faster then thought well, then we might have something. The guy reminds me of Dewayne Jarrett, If Jarett was a little slower.
  19. Okay so his 40 time doesn't mean a whole lot to you but neither should his tape. Good tape against college caliber CB's don't always translate to the NFL. Thats where his 40 time comes in. His 40 time will translate to the NFL. I think you need a good combo of tape and combine numbers. The whole idea that the 40 time means nothing is ridiculous. If it means nothing then why do they even keep time on college players or any players for that matter? The reason they have these events i.e 40, vert jump and such is so they can take the guys skill level and try to match it up to the next level of athletes. Malcolm Kelly's highlights are good but he doesn't always show seperation and that's at the college level! Do you think he'll have great success against the Deangelo Halls and Champ Baily's when he's running a 4.7? Oh wait I forgot he did it on film against Washington St. so He'll be fine. I really do mean this post with all due respect I'm just tired of the false idea that 40 time means nothing. We are not professional scouts and we pretend that the ones who get paid for this are morons because we don't agree. If we're so smart how come our best ideas are on a message board and not in front of Russ Brandon?
  20. My favorite one hit... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ET8zhjeYMs...feature=related
