    When Rittenhouse arrived at the mechanics shop, he and others stood guard to prevent further destruction.     The statement says that by the final time that Rittenhouse returned to the gas station and “confirmed there were no more injured individuals who needed assistance, police had advanced their formation and blocked what would have been his path back to the mechanic’s shop. Kyle then complied with the police instructions not to go back there. Kyle returned to the gas station until he learned of a need to help protect the second mechanic’s shop further down the street where property destruction was imminent with no police were nearby.”

     

    “As Kyle proceeded towards the second mechanic’s shop, he was accosted by multiple rioters who recognized that he had been attempting to protect a business the mob wanted to destroy. This outraged the rioters and created a mob now determined to hurt Kyle. They began chasing him down. Kyle attempted to get away, but he could not do so quickly enough. Upon the sound of a gunshot behind him, Kyle turned and was immediately faced with an attacker lunging towards him and reaching for his rifle. He reacted instantaneously and justifiably with his weapon to protect himself, firing and striking the attacker,” Pierce explains.

     

    Additionally, Rittenhouse stopped to ensure care for his attacker, hardly sounds like someone who had went to the riot with intent to kill.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Not taking SectionC3's side on this at all but this is just the defense attorney's spin.

     

    Most of what is written aligns with the video we all have seen but some of the descriptions have a definite ' the kid is an angel' spin.

    Are you okay with 3 felons rioting, or where they stupid too?

    As a parent of a 17 year old I would NEVER let her go into a situation like that.  

     

    I surely wound not put myself into that situation either and I am an expert marksman.

     

    If it were my business or home maybe I would not but going to do it for someone else's.

    Still illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to open carry (when not hunting).

    His (940.225 3A) charge means that he is a rapist, having had sex with an individual without their consent. The name of the victim isn't listed anywhere, because the victim is a minor. 

    But do they normally name the victim i they are not a minor?  I would think that information would not be public.

    I googled it again.  Top link was the polifact link.  The other was a sketchy 'news' page that offered any evidence ot the claim it was an underage person.

     

    Best I could find it the quote from the polifact link:
