  1. I think nominating and voting on a replacement just 45 days before the election is a very bad idea.  First, the precedent has been made.  It makes Republicans look REALLY bad of they push for a nomination.

I have always stated that the blocking of Obama's nomination was a bad idea and a Republican nomination will infuriate democrats and independents and even many centrist Republicans like myself.

Put the flags and half mast for a week and focus on the issues.

I think Trump would win a lot of hearts and minds if he publicly states that he would not submit a nomination until after the election results are determined.

Such self defense may be understandable if the police were engaging in an epidemic of shooting unarmed Black men and women, as we now hear daily — but there is no such epidemic. For the last five years, the police have fatally shot about 1,000 civilians annually, the vast majority of whom were armed or otherwise dangerous. Black people account for about 23% of those shot and killed by police; they are about 13% of the U.S. population.

  3. The called option run plays were not well executed.  He hit on maybe 30% for positive yards.   And everyone one of the 70% put him at risk of injury.  Actually, the other 30% by proximity too.  I watched the first hour of the Pats game and Cam was executing the option masterfully. Allen is not the same runner. Cam is a juker.  Allen is a strider.  He does well in tight space to duck under a rusher and turn a negative into positive.

Allen has also showed a lot of improvement in his passing game.  Nice touch and avoiding the overthrows of open receivers (the John Brown overthrow excepted.).

All in all a nice sign of growth and perhaps the sign of what a high draft pick can progress with a stable organization.

Which types of firearms are most commonly used in gun murders in the U.S.?

In 2017, handguns were involved in the majority (64%) of the 10,982 U.S. gun murders and non-negligent manslaughters for which data is available, according to the FBI. Rifles – the category that includes many guns that are sometimes referred to as “assault weapons”– were involved in 4%. Shotguns were involved in 2%. The remainder of gun homicides and non-negligent manslaughters (30%) involved firearms that were classified as “other guns or type not stated.”

I couldn't have said it better. I'm proud of you for speaking truthfully. Obama had the whole country behind him. I think even the most ardent white conservative wanted him to succeed, because it would be proof of what conservatives espouse. Work hard, work fair, look for opportunity and you can succeed in the USA despite your race or background. We were in a recession and everyone wanted him to succeed and lead us out of it.

Obama could have transformed America for the better, especially in his first term. But he went back to his racially biased social organizer roots and made things far worse for everyone. He should have espoused the values of nuclear families, strong black and brown men in the family, getting an education, not having kids out of wedlock, not aborting black babies, and working for a better life. He should have listened to Thomas Sowell and Larry Elder. We wanted Cliff Huxtable and got Malcolm X instead. What a wasted opportunity.

I grew up in the 1980s and 1990s (I don't remember the 1970's) Things were not like this. Black America was on the rise. As a society we talked openly about abortion, gay rights, the death penalty, health care and racial issues, often with a giggle, and a nod that things were getting better.

Instead of a bridge across the races, Obama created a schism. He espoused and supported identity politics and created a whole generation of dependents on the government. Worse yet identity politics entered the mainstream, it infected colleges, mass media and a growing social media. Look at a 20-30 yr old's Social Media Accounts now. People label themselves with identity stances like a grocery list and as a badge of honor. "I am a 'pansexual, vegan anti racist". Ok I am Jay, a developing and fallable individual.

Obama had such a chance to make things better, and he failed terribly.

When Obama got elected I was disappointed but hopeful that he would help heal the racial divide.  What a waste of political capital.  He abandoned his black community because he knew they would vote en-mass for him.  Turns out he was nothing more that anther run of the mill corrupt Chicago machine politician.  He used is power to put leftists in all levels of power in the civilian law enforcement and intelligence, and military power structures.

Trump is making inroads to remove them.

taking a picture of people saying the Pledge of Allegiance

combine it with an unfounded open ended statement

and that’s supposed to make some sort of point ?

    oh wait, it does. . . . . . about you 😂

Actually, only current and past members of the military salute during the national anthem.  Civilians are expected to remove their hats and place their hand on their heart.

So the poster is insulting veterans and the National Anthem.

The Democrat Left has been exposed again, perpetuating another hoax against President Donald J. Trump and his supporters, with gossip, as Breitbart news exposed the fake news story about Trump disrespecting military veterans that ran in the Atlantic magazine Monday.

According to Breitbart News in a recent article, Matthew Boyle wrote that Former Deputy White House Chief of Staff ” [Zack]Fuentes unequivocally denied The Atlantic’s report last week, a huge blow to the establishment media narrative. Fuentes personally briefed President Trump on the weather situation that led to the trip being canceled. He is also a close personal confidante of former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.”

Media allies of the Democrat Party and “Never-Trump” movement have shown Americans over the past 4 years their long-established pattern of deception against American sovereignty, with the obviously illogical Atlantic story about Trump-hating veterans.

That he is a good man trying to do what’s best for the country based on his vision of America.

    He’s made mistakes.

    He’s had some big wins!

Like I said with Obama, I’ll give him his full presidency before I appraise fully. I think he deserves that.

I agree with everything said except the first line.

I don't think he's necessarily a good man.  He is a deeply flawed human and narcissist.

But you have t give credit to the man.  He was woefully unprepared to become President.  I really think he was shocked that he had won.  Never believing that he would win with the polls the way they were.

The Obama administration did everything they could to undermine his candidacy, the transition of power and post inauguration Obama/Deep State holdovers coup attempt.

He reduced regulations and negotiated better trade deals resulting in an economy that grew at an astonishing rate and employment numbers that benefited all races.

He started no new wars.  Ended the endless wars.  Negotiated historic middle east peace deals.

All of this in the face a an overtly hostile media.

Cons... the tax cuts while benefited in the short term will need to be adjusted to curb the deficit.  He is an egomaniac.  If he would just stay off twitter and and allow his handlers to manage his communications he would have a 10 point lead over Biden at this point.  As far as the corona virus is concerned, its anyone's guess how things may have turned out if it was Hillary running the show.  One thing I do believe, we would be mired in foreign wars and dealing with a much worse economic crisis if she was in charge.
