So I says to the guy, this is one of my favorite Italian-Japanese bands - especially when they're in bull-fighting mode. And he says, 'Now look, Mister', and I says, 'Oh yeah

This is just...
not quite on the level of 'Every Sentient Being Should Listen to John Prine' good, but it's close:

Josh Allen will never have another game where he's 9 of 30, and if he does, who cares- it's an absolute fluke. Allen was 9of 30 and we were tied- this is a good team.

I don't know that I've ever seen that many partial feet stay inbounds on any play ever

Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!

So at the end of the first half a snap, 14 yard throw, catch, and football move out of bounds takes literally 2 seconds - my applause to the Texans for being so efficient.
Now a punt, directly out of bounds takes 10 seconds???
Makes sense

I dedicate this song to the Buffalo Bills

I'm usually good with just one day of Fandom Seppuku when the Bills lose. Then I let my Stoic training take over, shrug my shoulders, and move on.
But this one is different. We didn't lose. We got destroyed. We were both outplayed and outcoached and fully deserved the painful score than showed up on the scoreboard. And that causes me to worry about the strength of the team. I may be in Fandom Seppuku mode until the next win. Winning cures everything: depression, PTSD, ED, FS...
But thanks for the upbeat post.
The only thing I got for you is we were starting to outplay them, then they pulled out that pee-wee league bullcrap play. &@!*%!& Morons

Traditionally when teams get the ball via a takeaway or a big stop and are around midfield they take shots or run gadget/trick plays.
After looking at it again today it was a mess from the start. Its a shame Samuels wasn't just tackled and they moved on to third down. The risk in this play was way too high to run at that time.
the flip side I guess is that if dawkins kicks van noy way out wide and allen can step into the throw he might have hollins in the endzone on the sideline and all of a sudden its a 21-17 game.
doesn't matter now.
I still think even if it succeeded it was an awful call. The Ravens had bullied us the first 2/3 of that game. We were finally showing them we could bring it back at them physically- we needed to keep doing that.

Sounds like we are forgetting that the Bills hold a players only meeting for input on what plays are to be run each week. I would think which trick play surely had their input.
That being said, Brady could have thrown it out the window and should have.
The real issue is execution. Samuel never should have pitched Josh the ball and ate the lost play.
They never should have run the play at that time. They were starting to wrangle the game back from the Ravens in a legitimate football sense, in the way a real football team does it, and they went to the crayon board instead of stepping on throats.

Even if everything goes right on that play, we score a touchdown, Josh is untouched, and we make the damn extra point, it was still the absolute wrong call.
We were finally starting to smack them around a bit, starting to force their arm back, and then this stupid, asinine, arrogant, bat**** call!!!!!
This may be the single stupidest playcall I've seen in my entire life.
Burn the daggamn trick play book, and if he ever tries anything like it again, fire his ass!
That was game defining bullcrap, and they'd better put this waaay in the rearview mirror, or it'll become team-defining bullcrap.

That play call was unforgivable. Period. We were looking solid, that what the ***** was that!!!!!!!!!

I think we may have a tendency to read each other's words on a message board and think that person is strong without thinking otherwise, but acknowledging our real vulnerabilities is true strength.

I'm soon to be quitting watching the Mets, once they get swept.
Does that count?
