  1. My older brother -12 years my senior- is going through his second bout of cancer- lymphoma, and now pancreatic.  Thanks for posting the video, doc.

Hey if the board needs someone to answer a certain unreachable longing that exists somewhere between the ballsack, heart and brain... and happens to involve the stupendous songwork of The Who, you can cry on my shoulder.  Just offering.  )

    Bless ye, WhoTom.  )

  2. Way too many good plays by so many players to break it down to 3.  Shakir, Cooper, Knox... that whole pass blocking unit (not so much the run blocking haha), but the pass blocking was phenomenal given the substitutions, and going against that DL and KC's pretty dang good blitz schemes.

Benford, Douglas, Rousseau, AJE, Rapp, Hamlin all had serious plays.  Miller got home and contributed on several other plays- though the coaches need to kick his ass on one play where he totally coasted once he thought he was out of it- he could have shut down a much bigger gain if he'd kept playing - but still a good game overall for Von - in the sense of working his way back to being who we'll want out there on the field.   I haven't been too sure we even want him out there recently.

Codrington was exciting. I'm onboard with that trade!

Kidding about the angry.  )   It's a lovely song, but I've got to admit I've never trusted Bob Dylan as a songwriter.  The words are on mark, but there's just a bit of empathy...  or actual lived-experience that always seems a bit off to me in his writing.

But I love Tom Waits, sooooo

    For Muppy

Amongst others, but these guys big-time, I can totally picture where I was in life when those songs came out.  Well, except DV '69- hadn't quite hooked into them yet.  At 100% life was miraculous!  The ***** of the 80's was done!   Done done done done DONE!  We were listening to ***** great music on the daily, and even the poppy crap had to bend enough to be at least decent.  )  We were beating the record cronies for once!!!

Personally, I was free, not too much of a ***** up, and just enamored that life, inside and outside, was on a serious upswing.

Then I met and moved in with the most stunning girl I'd ever seen... and we were in mid-decline by the release of Experimental Jet Set haha

and pretty much done at 'Washing Machine'

But I was soon free once more. and loved that album, though I knew they were on the decline now, too.

    Thanks for posting.
