So what? He wasn't traded for because he was too good to let a potential opponent have. He was traded for because our starter was injured. We got him because we were desperate.

The guy they signed in the fourth week of preseason? And tell me again what Jeff Tuel AND Thad did during preseason that would have warranted this decision?

Why does that make any difference? Someone in the organization thought Tuel was more ready than anyone else. Care to suggest an available quarterback that makes this statement false?

So they should have looked at his performance during preseason and decided he wasn't? Or this is another argument that completely ignores the time Kolb spent on our roster as if Tuel was meant to be the backup all along? And yeah, you exaggerated two quantitative points to make bash...somebody?

So that is what you're positing? A full-on desist of any and all discussion on decisions or actions not yet made? He's listed as doubtful. Should we talk about the game as if he's going to play? Or just not talk about the game at all? Do you think it makes no difference who the quarterback is thus the conversation is pointless?

Thad is listed as doubtful, and Tuel has gotten more reps than Flynn. So, there's a better than 50% chance Tuel will be the starter. Silly? I think not. Right it was irresponsible because _______ was available. Please fill in the blank.

Well, I count at least two instances of hyperbolic fantasy in your account of what happened. What exactly was the point you had to lie to try and make?

All indications are that if it's not Thad, it'll be Tuel.

Just gave him a warped sense of sexual identity. He's very TMI when the topic of anything sex comes up now. Will probably never ask his long-time girlfriend to marry him. Has a very apparent Peter Pan complex in how he looks, dresses, acts and thinks. I honestly don't remember asking him what the reaction was like at the time, for some reason I remember him saying it was "cool" but I also seem to remember him thinking it was this weird thing he didn't really tell anyone about.

This is foolish. Tuel knows our team and our offense better than Flynn or Dxon. The coaches know him better. It's their decision to make, and they are far more qualified to make it than you or me.

Also, fwiw, I legitimately know a guy to whom this DID happen, it's how he lost his virginity and it took him about 10 years, therapy and some serious soul searching before he felt comfortable referring to it as rape. It also plays a pretty significant role in his relationships/sex life even now (almost 20 years later).

How is Jeff Tuel suddenly responsible for Washington State's inability to compete in a top-3 DI conference? As if QUARTERBACK's what held held them back.
