  1. Nothing spectacular but a solid first outing for the boy.

Went 4-8 (with 3 WR drops on 2 good throws) for about 75 yrds and a TD. Moved the chains with his feet a couple times on QB draws. Did a good job never leaving the pocket once and only throwing 1 bad ball off his back foot all night.

Best stat of the night: 0 turnovers in a 31-0 win.

Thanks for all the great advice you guys gave; it was very helpful.

Any secret tips on how to better deliver a wet ball downfield? He had some trouble in a rainy scrimmage last week and I don't know what to tell him about altering his grip or delivery in the rain. Any suggestions?

Gald to hear hes doing well. In terms of throwing a wet ball? One thing he could do is get bigger hands or i used to try and grip it tighter but that can lead to underthrows and wobbley passes itd really just something he has to hget used to

  2. Whats Trent Edwards record as a starter now? about 500? In 27 career games he has 22 touchdowns.

Trent is a mdicore quarterback. He would be great on a team that plays with a lead alot and has to protect the ball. On a team that expects to be high powered with TO and Evans on the outside he will lead an attack like we saw sunday. capt checkdown Is not a quaterback who will WIN the game for you. He wont LOSE which is why DJ loves him. He plays like his coach not to lose

  3.

No sarcasm intended, but Nelson is going to be good based on what? He is in his third week into his rookie season and he's already injured. You can't go by how he did in college ie: Ryan Leaf, Mike Williams and many, many other players! But, I sure hope you are right and he becomes the player we all want at TE. I just think it's way too early to even form an opinion.

That P word....Potential... Plus hes a TE with speed and good hands lets be optomistic eh?

  4. Good thing Ralph didnt want to bring in guys like fred taylor Laveneous Coles Pisa Tinsioma and some guy named Terrell Owens? What a cheap ass! This guy makes a good point. O and im pretty sure we worked out Runyon and yet we still passed on him after we lost our RT fgor the year.

Just maybe maybe the OL coach knows more than internet tough guy with the OP

  5. This is why women remain single? No, this is why women get their throat's slashed and their bodies dumped in the trash. You don't give a guy like this your card with your number. I really doubt the guy came off as normal when she met him in person and she gives him a card with not only her work number but I imagine her work address. Not a very smart girl.

Who said women are smart? <_<

    (kidding of course)

  6. Also Chad Clifton, Green Bay's starting OT just went down this Sunday with an ankle injury. He is expected to miss an extended period of time. Can't think too much of Meredith if they let him go with all the problems they are having.

They dont have a choice...we signed him to our active roster he is officially ours

  7. Jamon Meredith, OL, South Carolina

If NFL teams are looking for an offensive lineman to come in and contribute immediately, they can look no further than this South Carolina Gamecock. To say Meredith is high on the experience factor would be an understatement. He redshirted as a freshman after playing in one game, and coming into 2008 he had started 28 consecutive games; 29 in total dating back to his freshman season. Meredith started 18 straight at left tackle protecting his quarterback's blind side, but recently he has been forced to show his versatility. He had to sit out two games at the start of this season due to having played during his 2005 redshirt year, and coach Steve Spurrier moved him to guard upon his return. In addition to his football skills (which include running under 5.0 in the 40-yard-dash despite his size), Meredith is outstanding in the classroom and will bring no off-the-field concerns with him into the next level. Right now he looks like a second-rounder in the 2009 draft. Meredith has the frame to get even bigger and he needs to show he can truly dominate a game up front before NFL brass will be convinced to go for him in round one.

sounds like a good move to me

  8. Very odd timing to work out RBs, with Marshawn due back after one week. I know they work out people all the time, but the timing is odd. Maybe Marshawn could be on the move?

Id be surprisd if Marshawn was on the move.... Me thinks were cutting Oman and McEntyre when Lynch comes back and sign Booker or another player. Remember we did sign Dominik Rhodes this offseason....

  9. Really?

With Turk we would have scored 3 and 17 the last 2 games. AVP is doing an awesome Job and is actually using his weapons and Trent is doing a great job taking what the defense gives him.

O Btw you want Balance on offense? 220 yards passing 218 yards rushing yesterday.

    Game plan against that
