former car was a 2009 Impala with 258K.

    Outback is great

I'm a first time Suby owner with an Impreza. Wow I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! They really are as good as advertised in the snow.

Bought a 2018 Impreza sedan not hatchback in 2017 with 34 miles on it and now have 35,100. Great cars!

I've seen it mentioned a few times, but my wife and I both enjoyed The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Genuinely funny with a good plot. The guy that played Lenny Bruce is dead on.

I know it's not a streaming original, but This Is Us is better than I ever wanted to admit.

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is one of the best to come around in awhile. Not one bad episode and Season 2 mimicked Seaaon 1 in terms of how good it was. What a brilliant show and so perfectly cast. breasts up that Seaaon 3 is great too!

The Catskills episodes were filmed last summer not to far from me in Deposit, NY. About 30 mins east of Binghamton on the Broome Co/Delaware River where the Catskills just about start. The casted a bunch of locals for extras and I recognized a few. Pretty cool!

    • Mike Trout, the best player in baseball, looks like he's never leaving the Los Angeles Angels after all. Mike Trout and the Angels are "finalizing" a 12-year, $430 million contract that breaks all kinds of records, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan

The contract is the largest in professional sports history, surpassing boxer Canelo Alvarez's $365 million deal, and it means Trout will not test free agency after the 2020 season. Trout also takes the record for largest MLB contract away from Bryce Harper less than three weeks after he signed a 13-year, $330 million deal with the Phillies. After landing with his new team, Harper was public in his recruitment of Trout, a southern New Jersey native and die-hard Eagles fan

How can baseball afford these contracts, do people still watch baseball.

Attendance and ratings are very healthy. Both local and national TV contracts are extremely wealthy. Lots and lots of money in MLB for all teams.

Yes, we got them back recently.  Was BS when we lost them.  The Road to Glens Falls was a wonderful thing. Glad to see it made right again.

The Glens Falls Civic Center (now the Cool Insuring Arena (CIA)) has had its ups and downs.  New ownership and management have done very good things.  Tried to secure an AHL team, but it didn't work out.  Glens Falls was home to the Adirondack Red Wings during my youth (80s) and when we lost them, it was tough.

Rush, Van Halen, Ozzy, David Lee Roth, the Who ... and Queen (my first show) all played in Glens Falls back in the 70s and 80s.  I wish there was more of a demand for bands to play arenas with capacities under 10,000.  I hope someday it swings back.  Glens Falls is a nice little city and they're moving in the right direction.

It’s very similar in size as my beloved and outdated Broome Co Arena. Your setup is better as we have no seats in the corners. I remember when rock concerts would tour you’d almost always see Binghamton and Glens Falls on the same leg of the tour within days of each other.

I saw Ken Quinney score a hat trick up there one Friday night. That was a long and dreadful 3 plus our in sh*t weather home haha.

It belongs up there and glad it’s back to where it belongs but it was a nice event to have for my town for a few years.

I followed this game on our local newspaper's blog (I'm from Queensbury, which basically envelopes Glens Falls).  Very exciting.  JGIII scored all of Glens Falls' points in the third quarter and it seemed like every point in the 4th/OT was scored by one of the three Girards on the team.

Must have been cool to see.

Glens Falls/Queensbury have churned out a few pros over the years.  Dave LaPoint (world series winner with STL), Dave Palmer (Expos) and Jimmer Fredette went to GF; Adam Terry (OL - Ravens) went to Queensbury.  Not sure if Girard's path will lead to the NBA, but I can't wait to watch him play for Syracuse.

Very cool! Are you guys getting the NYS hoops championship back? I never know how that works and thought I read it’s coming back your way. Go figure...it was held in Glens Falls all those years and it makes an appearance in Binghamton briefly and GF wins it here haha.

by the way I love that arena up there, way back in the late 80s/early 90s I used to go watch my Whalers and Rangers play up there. That place never ages and love the set up.

  6. I’m in Grocery DSD sales so I have no office. Therefore I can post whenever I want from work but it really does me no good since it distracts me and makes my day longer. I do lurk a lot though and occasionally post.

I dont know know how you desk jockeys do it!

    Welp....

should still make the tourney but... this team is the most inconsistent I can remember

Florida, Bama, STJ and Texas all lost yesterday. Their resumes are all weaker than Cuse. Cuse will definitely be in the tourney.

  8. Tom Seaver ranks in Mets franchise history:

    #1 in WAR, 78.9

    #1 in ERA, 2.57

    #1 in Wins, 198

    #1 in Innings, 3045.2

    #1 in Strikeouts, 2541

    #1 in Shutout, 44

    #1 in CG, 171

And still the Wilpons have no statue at Citi of this living legend who is the greatest Met of all time.

    Sad news indeed.
