  1. Cable package All this for 124.95 per month.
  2. I have 4 tv's in my house. I do not yet have a HDTV but someday I will for sure. I believe for me to upgrade my box to the HD it's free with Time Warner cable or the same cost as I pay now. I don't have to sign any contracts for my cable servive like the dish and I also don't have to worry about rain fade. Yes rain fade, I have seen it first hand at a friends house. Horror story- My brother had problems the first week with his dish. He called for a service call and they sent someone out 2 days later. That would kill me!
  3. Amen brother!
  4. See I would be paying 84.00 like you and then add the other 13.00 a moth for my locals. Cable is cheaper for me and I get my locals for free.
  5. The answer is no then. It's free with my cable. I'm just trying to see why some people say dish is that much better, but I just can't see it.
  6. That's a big drop off from 300. Must have stopped eating pizza and wings uh?
  7. How about when the dish comes out with an upgrade to their service? Like a new dish or maybe a newer and better box? Do they upgrade your equipment for free?
  8. Like I said, my replacement cost are free. My bill is around 70.00 and I'm very happy with that. When the dish can provide me with a cheaper price and the local channels I will seriously consider a change.
  9. I don't need to pay extra to see the Bills play every week, they are on my local channel. No service calls uh? I have hearrd horror stories about service calls to fix a dish. You pay 84.00 a month and I pay 70.00. I guess I'm still good with my cable. What's the difference between the TIVO and my DVD cable box?
  10. Fez, what if your Direct TV box goes bad? Who pays for a new one?
  11. Cablelady where the hell are you?
  12. Watertown, NY does not get local channels with the dish and I don't either here in Sackets Harbor, NY.
  13. How's them service calls with the dish?
  14. Just curious, what's the difference between my DVR cable box and your tivo? They both record right? What's your direct tv bills run ya's per month? Come on, sell me one this one, here's your chance! Like I said I pay about 70.00 a month.
  15. His will get fuzzy when it snows hard or we get some heavy rain. Oh and get this.............................HE don't get the LOCAL channels like I do. He has to hook up rabbit ears if he wants the local news. The Bills games are televised on the local channels here. He watches the Bills games with fuzz in the back ground!
  16. Here comes the TV - Dish debate. My cable bill is around 70.00 a month. I get all the HBO's,the upper tier for sports channels and all the Buffalo Bills games. I'm pretty happy with that. IF my cable goes out, and that's a big IF, because it goes out about once every two years or so Time Warner will send a repair man out on the spot to correct the problem. It don't matter if it's on the pole or if it's a splitter in my living room. Those are free service calls. I'm very happy with them.
  17. I have seen my brothers dish work and I have to say my cable service is much more reliable.
  18. They said the NFL Network will come someday, I'm just curious to when?
  19. You bring up Jimbo and I was just thinking about what I heard awhile back. I heard he and his wife were on the outs.
  20. I like the service and dependabilty of my Time Warner Cable. I get just about every Buffalo Bills game there is during the regular season. Why would I switch?
  21. When is Timewarner cable going to get the NFL Network?
  22. We have Jason Peters! We don't need anyone else.
  23. Is he and his wife still happily married?
  24. I heard a report on ESPN radio a few weeks back that said Turley was weighing in at 240 pounds.
  25. I bet Travis Henry would be here with his team. Bottom line is, Willis should be here in Buffalo working out with his team.
