  1. its a mini rebuild year IMO.... We are making hard adjustments to be able to re-ante for Allens back 9

With Allen anything is possible, but it will require some significant steps up from the players around him. I need to see them play a bunch before I can tell you which way that will trend

Next year we will have cash to spend and will make a splash or 3, this year making the playoffs would be an acheivement given the roster youth turnover and the need for those new faces to get acclimated in the system

    Trust me, I'm with ya.

But I've accepted this is the new NFL reality.  Highest bidder at the auction takes home the shiny item.

Better them than a far less popular streaming service IMO.

I will not be going out of my way to purcahse any service to watch the NFL. Time to take a stand

This is far better than Peacock at least.

Almost everyone has Netflix, or knows someone that does

What do we know about predictions?

    They are:

    • free

    • fun

    • unscientific

    • without penalty

Just make one, or don’t. What are you afraid of?

I honestly cannot make a prediction.

Do the WRs who showed some promise last year rise up or do they show us that last year was fluke

Can Keon help us forget Diggs in year 1

How will our D look with a bunch of new pieces

If I predict to low I'll have 100 notfications telling me how dumb I am, or a bunch of puke / eyeroll  emojis

If I predict to high I'm a homer, and I think everything is peaches and cream but can't see the facts

If I take the safe route and predict something in the middle then I'm just predicting to avoid the above 2 scenarios

Ask me in mid October and I can better say if we are a playoff team with the ability to win it all or if its a complete reset year and we will be lucky to make the wildcard.

I've been doing this on the intranets for 20+ years, I've learned not to bother with predictions

If you can remain patient and wait until late December, you stand a much better chance of accurately predicting.

Of course but I personally cannot make a prediction till I see how this team behaves in real games. In fact I gave up a decade ago thinking any preseason or pre-traqining camp predicitons really matter. So many things can happen

I laugh at those who boast their predictions without actually seeing the team play meaningful games. We lost a lot of players and brought in some youth....We have a HC who leaves alot of us scratching our heads at times to, We wil have our OC in his first full season (which I'm excited to see what he does) and a new DC, so I will wait till mid October to see what kind of team we do have and how it is trending.

  6. Kim was going to do huge things in the NFL and for Women in the league.

her heart stopped for a considerable amount of time. So without knowing 100% all the facts I would say she has suffered permanent brain damage

You have a QB that's a Maserati. He's built for bombs away. But instead of building your offense for that, you build it for plodding, 10 yards at a time max, 10 minute drive offense. So I ask, what is the point?

What's the point of having a guy who's designed by nature to bomb the football deep and whose weakness is dink and dunk stuck in an offensive scheme that is built to do just that?

Why not offload him for someone who's better suited for that kind of thing if you refuse to play to his strengths? That's what I can't wrap my head around. It makes no sense.

YARDS AFTER CATCH is the game.  High % passes with YAC is more effective than bombs away. Josh has the arm strength but the % of receptions downfield is lower overall. Sure you throw the bombs a few times a game to keep DBs back on their heels some and hope you hit a few here and threre but I've seen more games for the Bills be lost trying to force it downfield. Keep those chains moving is always the 1st strategy

Why would you want to offload Allen... you are basically saying Josh is a one trick pony who can't play the short to mid game.... that is very weird thing to even hint at

It's also REALITY.  How can you possibly look at what has transpired between the Bills and the Chiefs going back to the 2017 draft and not feel the same?

I do not live like that. You want to be the best you simply beat the best. I'm  sure Beane explored other options but KC may have been the only option.

I love Allen as our QB and I don't  stew at all about that trade. Allen's not the reason we haven't gotten over the hump

  9. The top 4 WRs were of the board.  And Beane saw the remaining WRs left and strengths but also weaknesses.  So Instead of reaching he is shifting the lower part of the draft upwards. Its not sexy but he is playing the cards hes been dealt. I also expect more moves and I'm thinking we end up with 4 top 100 picks, lots of lower picks to work and plenty of value on the table

It's a pop-culture extravaganza, not something designed for football fans.  It's grown to become that over the years.

I'll watch it if we're in it if course.  I'd turn it off at half time though.

I remember the year the Simpsons ran an episode during halftime... That was my favorite halftime but that was like 20 years ago

The NFL has eaten itself to death.  It's grown to become an insatiable pig.

The Bills, in Buffalo, is the only reason I watch any of it anymore.  I typically don't even watch the Super Bowls anymore.

To each his own, but I have difficulty with anything that has become entirely about money to the extent that integrity is compromised.

completely agree with you. I haven't watched a superbowl in over a decade.

I can not stand the over the top pageantry of the event.

Buttheads!  Man, had I not grown up as a Bills fan, I think I’d stop being an NFL fan.  Their greediness and attitudes are getting to be too much.

If the Bills ever move from WNY I will no longer be watching the NFL myself. If the cost to watch a full season climbs more I will start fading away. Really tired of multiple streaming services to be able to watch a full season.

    Yes.

    Next question.

You mean like taking over a team, trading away and cutting players, and making the playoffs for the first time in 2 decades with Tyrod Taylor as your QB?

Kind of like that, but making it on a last second win by another team to back in and then missing the playoffs the following year still says its a test of McDermott. I know I want to see the team succeed, and that takes good leadership when you have roster turn over. The defense has some concerns but I think we are in good shape knowing we have the draft in front of us with Allen and a solid O. Still need to see what it is like with Babich as DC, and Brady's 1st full season at OC. If things start to go wonky how does he adjust.

They should sell shares (like Green Bay) for like $100.  The us Bills fans just need to buy 9.25M shares.  Easy peasey.
